<\/p>I\u2019m very pleased, humbled, surprised and overall gleeful to announce I\u2019m awarded the Microsoft Data Platform MVP 2017 Award<\/a>.
\nThis is a great honor and I\u2019m grateful for all the support I\u2019ve received of Microsoft, my peers and the SQL Server community over the past years. I\u2019d like to take this moment to thank you all!\n

The #sqlfamily is a great community to be part of and I hope I will be able to contribute for a long time to come.<\/p>\n

A couple of changes have been made to the MVP program:<\/p>\n

there are no more quarterly cycles. Every month people can be awarded with the MPV award. I\u2019m in the first batch of the monthly cycles \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n

there\u2019s one singly renewal period, in July. Basically this means my first MVP award will last from February 2017 to July 2018.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
