			<description><![CDATA[I've been mulling over a game concept for a while, though I probably wouldn’t execute it myself. It’s centered around Proto Man’s backstory and his role in the events of Mega Man 3. While Mega Man 3 lacks a detailed narrative, it always bothered me that Proto Man’s character didn’t get the in-depth story it deserved. This fan game would aim to fill in those gaps.<br />
<br />
The story would be told through cutscenes narrated by Proto Man himself. The game’s intro would explain why Proto Man ran away from Light Labs, what he was up to between Mega Man 1 and 2, and how he ended up with Dr. Wily. Wily manages to temporarily stabilize Proto Man’s unstable nuclear core, gives him the Proto Shield to compensate for his weaknesses, and disguises him with his iconic helmet and visor. This marks the beginning of Proto Man’s time working for Wily.<br />
<br />
The story then transitions into the events of Mega Man 3. On the surface, Dr. Light and Dr. Wily appear to be collaborating on a peacekeeping robot named Gamma, with Mega Man tasked with collecting eight energy elements after the Robot Masters went rogue. However, Wily secretly meets with Proto Man, revealing that his alliance with Dr. Light is a ruse, and that he’s behind the Robot Masters' rebellion. Wily orders Proto Man to retrieve the weapon data and Robot Master chips from the defeated Robot Masters, and to destroy Mega Man if they cross paths. In return, Wily gives Proto Man the Break Man helmet and the Copy Ability, allowing him to gain a boosted version of a MM3 Robot Master’s weapon after each chip is collected. The main game would then start, with each stage being a redesigned MM3 Robot Master stage featuring new challenges.<br />
<br />
After collecting all the chips, Proto Man, under the alias Break Man, encounters Mega Man. During their fight, Proto Man eventually reveals his identity, and Mega Man tries to convince him that he’s on the wrong path. Proto Man initially resists but later reconsiders and decides to secretly assist Mega Man in infiltrating Wily’s Castle. The game then moves into the Wily Stages, culminating in Proto Man witnessing Mega Man defeat Gamma and rescuing him from the collapsing castle, returning him to Dr. Light’s lab.<br />
<br />
The final cutscene would feature Proto Man reflecting on why he chose to fight for the greater good, how he learned to forgive Dr. Light, and how he decided to create his own legacy. The game would end with a montage of Proto Man’s appearances in later Mega Man games, up to Mega Man 10.<br />
<br />
This is the extent of my concept. I think it’s a solid idea, but turning it into a fan game would be a significant undertaking, and I’m not planning to develop it myself. From this, with the work of our diligent members, we have begun uploading sprites from these games! <br />

 many years ago, I used to follow a japanese developer that were producing a fangame, every videos of the project were about some sort of boss rush,  with reprogrammed and remade many bosses found in non-famicom consoles, for example in a video they showed fights agains the Dimensions (I even have know about gameboy megaman games from these very videos) fighting against dangan man, kumaso man etc all reprogrammed, colored and dinamic much like how a NES game should be.<br />
another video also showed some fights agains stardroids with mars and neptune too, but I've lost the name of this developer and have no idea how too start searching for it, the few things I remember were that every boss were fought in this kind of room with this same music of were it went from (dunno what game this is from, i also had known it from these videos too) and the boss fight music were original.<br />

So, Battle Network Legacy Collection released! Did you know its the fastest selling Mega Man *anything* of all time? It's effectively already beaten the previously highest selling Mega Man game, Mega Man 11, in a very short amount of time?<br />

And that almost a quarter of Mega Man's lifetime sales has happened in the past few years?<br />
<br />

			<description><![CDATA[I feel slightly dirty coming here just to ask for stuff, but...well, the other usual spots (VG Resource, Sprite Database, etc) are hard pressed to give a damn about anything, let alone fulfill a simple request. Plus, they're just kind of mean there.<br />

In any event, I have a relatively simple and straightforward rip request: The battle chips from the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection.<br />
<br />
For those not in the know, the LC actually features completely redrawn battle chips! ALL of them. From all six games! Think the chips from Network Transmission, but in far better resolution.<br />
<br />
The catch is that they're ONLY viewable in online trading. Even the numerous galleries don't let you view them, which is...one hell of a miss.<br />
<br />

I've been trying to view videos online and, from what I remember/understand, anytime Mega/Proto Man throws something, he stops in place. Can someone please clarify what these sprites are used for?<br />
