i hope you remember me ^^
(i wonder how many of you are still around...) i hope you're all ok :)

i'm finally back ! i've been away waaaaay too long, not enough hours in my days i guess ! (and to be honest, too many problems i had to fix this year, and too much work, and not enough holidays, and...)
things are calming down a little, and, FINALLY i bought a new laptop !
the name ? (yeah, coz i'm me, and i'm silly, and my computer needed a name) it's Philibert :p
dont ask me why, i have no idea.

first thing i'm gonna do is visit your journals (well, as you can guess, it will probably take me a couple of days).
i'm sure i've missed tons of things, like... verou 's wedding for exemple ! OMG i was sooooo happy for you, you're one of the sweetest LJ friend i have, and of course i wish you the best ♥ i cant wait to see the pictures :D

about graphics ? my photoshop was "out of order" for months, but i can use it now, with Philibert !
i've been trying to do something -anything!!- for a week now, but it was like i didnt know how to use it anymore XD

i've change my header, but i wont keep it for long. it's just to give me time to make another one.

i wanna know every important things that happened to you when i wasn't here (or any unimportant things that you'd like to share lol)

hi everyone !

i hope you're all ok.
i'm sorry i havent been around last month. i really didnt have much free time, and when i could get some, most of the time i spent it sleeping :p

to all the people who sent me request by PM, i havent respond yet, but i'll still make them, dont worry :)

i miss you my flist, but it's really crazy at work, and i mean REALLY CRAZY 0_o
sometimes i work 12 hours with a 20 minutes break -_-
but i wont complain much because my job is still really interesting, so despite how much i'm exhausted somedays, i'm still having fun :D
it should be more quiet on april, but untill then i'm not sure when i'll post again. well, i'll see...

even if i dont comment on your journals, i read your entries once a week :)

and casett i just wanted to say... THANK YOU !! :D you're one of my first LJ friends, and you're always so sweet to me *hugs back*

this is kali's bday.
kali is awesome, but kali is also very good at harassing people about tutorials, so just to make her stop, and leave me be, i made a tutorial for her XD

warning : it probably wont work well for any other pics than stock. it was made for stock pictures, and for exemple it's definitely NOT a good tutorial for dark caps

the base

1- i wanted colors less vivid

Layer -> new adjustment layer -> selective color

Green -100 +100 -100 +14
Cyan -100 -58 +100 -61
Blue +18 -14 +13 -100

2- different settings now

Layer -> new adjustment layer -> selective color

Red -16 0 0 0
Yellow -49 +14 -38 34
Magenta -49 -100 +100 -8

3- New layer

Layer -> New color layer -> choose color 050518
set it to exclusion

4- not a step very important, and it REALLY depends on your base

Layer -> new adjustment layer -> hue/saturation
0 +10 0

5- Layer -> new adjustment layer -> Brightness/Contrast
-10 +5

6- Layer -> new adjustment layer -> photofilter

color ac7a33
density 67%

7- this time the colors need to be more vivid !

Layer -> new adjustment layer -> selective color

Red 100 0 100 100
Yellow -48 +5 +1 +22
Green +4 0 0 0
Magenta -5 0 0 0
White +19 -11 +18 -18

8- Duplicate ALL the layers and merge them
then desaturate this new layer (CTRL+Shift+u)

set this layer to Color burn
and change the opacity to 40% (but it REALLY depends on your pic !!)

just add some textures and light, and you're done !! :D

so that's it, i've finished Life.
wow i already miss it :( awesome characters, great music, and a reminder to eat healthy, yeah this show deserved more !

about my life : quiet.
i just wish i hadnt this grumpy but nice boss, so i would be able to leave him without any regrets to go home every night. instead i feel guilty, and i stayed a couple of hours to finish work, almost everyday, without being paid for those extra hours.
i think i totally deserve my angel wings :D

i made a few icons, not as much as usual, but i was busy watching more and more tv shows :p

also thanx to angelic37 i've discovered another show: LIFE, and i love it. Damian Lewis is such a great actor, i already loved him as Winters in Band of Brothers, but he's amazing as Charlie Crews

i've been reading so many GK fanfics lately, it was like a drug. the more i was reading, the more i wanted to read ^^ (and OMG i love fictional Fick and Colbert as much as i love the real ones)

ok this is an Alexander Skarsgård post. so obsessed with him lately that i HAD to make icons, it's like i couldnt control my photoshop ^^

and thanx to our viking i discovered Generation Kill. i was only curious at first, but then i couldnt stop watching, this show is soooo good 0_0
sometimes i had the feeling i was just watching a documentary, so i guess the actors did a pretty amazing job :)

my favourite is Brad, but i also love so many of them : Nate (aww angel face Nate), Ray, Walt, Doc...
and i have this thing for Brad/Nate *blushes* i cant help it. besides, it's not my fault, it's mostly because of the fantastic fanfic i've been reading about GK the past couple of nights XD

for those who are still in school : good luck, and from now no more tv, back to your studies ^^

i have a new header (layout hasnt change), i just couldnt resist.
summer is gone, it's gonna be cold soon, so i asked Mister Eric Northman to warm me up :p
(dead or not, i'm SURE he isnt cold at all...)

and i made some pictures in London with my "a bit crappy" digital camera (i took prettier pictures but with my "real" camera so i'll have the photos to be developed)

i loved the bus, i used it everytime i could ^^

loved the phone booth too, the red ones of course
i've tried to find the one leading to the Ministry of Magic,
but i failed...

i loved all the musical shows available in town,
much more attractive than the ones in Paris in my opinion

i loved the 1st day ot the carnival of notting hill
lots of teens and kids dancing, funny :D
(and the food OMG that was sooooooo good !!)

i didnt like the 2nd day that much, too crowed for me i guess
and i didnt see much of the parade, so many people that we just couldnt enter some streets,
i was a bit desappointed, and my friend had her wallet robbed :/
(but english policemen = awesome !)

i loved acting like a real tourist, taking pictures of everything lol

i loved piccadilly circus, i didnt mind the crowd, i like the shops, restaurants, theatres...

and i loved the food halls at Harrods XD
i'm pretty sure we can find all that delicious stuff here in Paris, but i guess i dont even pay attention !

as i already told some of you, i have a new boss, and he let me have my 2 weeks of vacation

and... i'm going to London in a few hours *dances*
just for 5 days but i'm so happy !

i've never been there so i'm very excited :D

i just couldnt resist, i really needed to make True Blood graphics, how weird is that ?
it started when i made some stuff for hellodie 's birthday, and i just kept making more stuff ^^
