Starting off Fresh!

Okay, I've decided that my graphics journal sucks to the moon. I've been looking at other peoples, they don't just post graphics, they write entries, and they get zillions of comments. I'd like to do this with mine too...however, to do this first, I need to get really good with icons, gradients, brushes, textures. Sadly, none of these things I can make, except for some decent icons. So you'll have to bare with me, and the only way I'll ever get better, is if you request.

jadedanielle (jadedgraphics ) is one who inspires me. She makes her own brushes!
I can't even use brushes as beautifully as her, and she makes hers! That's it...my icons are gonna knock peoples socks off...I'm ready,
