Back on the job hunt reee
Sigh after 5 years, corp is sunsetting my role at end of year even though I'm in the middle of 5+ projects that I guess I'm not doing anymore🤷♀️ In my kindest words, "Googlecorp finally did their disagreeable thing"
I'm on the jobhunt again, ideally for something remote. Vendor company obv wants to keep me and my 11yr solid track record, and I'd absolutely be fine to stay in the G ecosystem and its dimming perks, but I'm cautiously pessimistic. Economy's so cursed.
Lol once in a while, I dream about being a postal office worker like my mom was apparently before I was born, I'll be on the lookout for local postings on that end too.
