By 10:20am today I need to finish two papers and study for my exam. I’m not too worried about the papers, but the exam…? Eh. Below are the words/names for the matching portion of my exam…I’ve just finished watching The Return and Solaris and I’ll probably regret it, but I’m going to rest my head for a little while… probably til 4am-ish.

I know it’s a lot to ask, but if anyone can even just link me to wiki pages for a bunch of these, it’ll save me time for when I wake up… I think I got most of the spellings right, except for the last one, anyway.

One of my essays is on the fall of the Soviet Union. Apparently there are 3 aspects to it… I only really know one lol: Yeltsin wanted to destroy Gorbachev and to do so, he destroyed the country that Gorbachev stood for. Douche.

The second essay I’m doing on the Livejournal DDoS attacks from the Russian standpoint… or at least trying to focus from that view. I have a few links somewhere on my plurk. If anyone has anything, I’d happily take that, too.

Note to Self: Don’t forget to read about the decrees and what helped the Soviet Union win WWII for the in-class essays.

Life update takes over your flists

Oi! I haven't posted on LJ or read through it in ages. Hope people are doing well.

So, life. Life is going okay! School is going okay! I was panicking on Facebook a bit about a class that I had missed a lot of (though found out that last week Strokanov wasn't actually on campus for classes) and last Friday was the last day to drop a class without getting a failing grade. I was gonna talk to him on Thursday about it, but one of the other profs said he wasn't in town so I sighed and just left it.

Caught him Tuesday on his way to teach his 9:30 class. Talked and walked, sorted things out a bit. Calmed down. Ended up sitting in on his 9:30 class, which was in the same room as me 11 class, so. And he was talking about India. All good.

I was running numbers and by the end of this semester I should have 18 credits rolling in - 6 from last semester, 12 from this one. Two summer classes is another 6, 15 planned for the fall. Ontop of my current 59, that will put me at 98 credits, and I think I need 120 or so to graduate. That means I need about 22 for next year.

I... might be able to do that o.o

The question is whether or not I can finish my major at the same instant. My minor? Easy. I can finish that this year. My major is a little more difficult.

There's a freeze on all the budgets of the departments. I forget all the details because I haven't looked at them for about a week, but the school is trying to avoid being in deficit in 2013 and they're all over the place running numbers to level out themselves so that they'll be okay. But they're currently pissed off the student body by heading towards faculty cuts in order to achieve that. First, offering profs close to retirement an early plan, and since it's seeming unlikely that those folk are all going to accept, they'll go towards untenured profs.

I personally think they should really chop out about half our deans since we apparently have eight and they're even easier to get rid of, but whatever.

The whole thing does bother me and it sucks but I'm more bothered by the departments getting no money.

They can't run more classes without money.

Richard Moye is going on sabbatical the coming fall and spring (I thought he was choosing to start in the spring, so you can imagine my mental keysmash). But then, even if he was here, he might not necessarily be able to teach much since there's no money to do so properly.

Well fuck that guys, how the hell are we supposed to finish our degree, huh?

I did find out that independent studies cost me more money and is easier on them then a full class. So those might end up being my last resorts.

A lot of the student body actually went to Montpelier to talk with the capitol's education folk about money. There's this big number of money that goes to all the public colleges of Vermont... alas the state colleges (Lyndon, Johnson, Castleton...) get pretty much whatever is left of that money. We've been getting less over the years.

I had planned on going, but I've been feeling horrendous off and on this week, and since I would have been traveling in a school van with a bunch of the students with a plan of being out from noon-5, I could see the terrible idea of getting myself stranded there while heaving.

Yeah. So. :| Will have to wait until tomorrow's Critic to see some of the details of how it went.

Uhm... lessee... LARP is creeping up. Gotta get stuff for that... FIRST comp in CT next week... gonna go to that.

FFXI comes back up tomorrow... for who-knows-how-long. SE got their electrical output down to some amount so they can bring the servers back up... I think I've been going through withdrawal only because I can't play.

I'm still weighing around going to Russia in the summer. I want to but... $2800... I really hate spending money. I really, really do. And maybe the school would hire me again, but seriously... I wouldn't rehire me, lol.

But hell, they probably barely can with how money is. Hiring non-workstudy students is money they barely had last year.

...Other stuff... Yearbook we're starting to rush a bit to meet our deadline x.x I'm doing fine in my portfolio/thesis class... though I can't find like... two pieces of paper that I had for my thesis research :| I think it's SOMEWHERE at the house but ugh.

And I really wish it could actually be spring. We had a few days were it was scratching towards 60, and then it snowed another inch or two. Can I get warmer weather? Pleeeease??

I am happy. I'm delightfully, bouncing around with happy.

So, I went to sleep at 9am yesterday and woke up at 9pm. Goal was to push myself late so that I would actually maybe be to my 11am class, which I had missed the last erm... three classes of >>; I did see one of the other kids from the class on Friday when I had an impromptu trip to campus after going to Applebees with Josh, and he told me that our geography test was Thursday (today).

Basically I played FFXI from 9pm to about 6am wherein I started studying for the geography test (to keep it fresh in my mind). Highlighted all over my atlas that I got for freshmen year's Representing the World lol.

Cleaned off my car around 7:30-8am-ish. Initially I planned to just turn it on and heat it up, come back inside and then clean it later, but just getting to my car without killing myself and ending up in a snowbank (I almost did that anyway), I had to for once shovel out my steps and a bit around my car, and by that point I just full-out attacked my car.

Screw those brush things. The best way to clean my car off is flailing my arms at it. ...No really, it actually worked pretty good, and since I didn't have to leave asap, I could come back inside and let my jacket dry off.

Did more geography stuff. Had to find half the stuff (Russia and surrounding area stuff). Then I hightailed it to campus with the idea of seeing Strokanov before he went to teach his 9:30 class and speak to him about missing classes. I got to campus at about 9:20. Yeah. At that point I wouldn't be able to get him, so I abandoned that plan and went to bug the English department. Bugged Chandler for a good period of time; I had already emailed him at like... 5am my plan for his portfolio/thesis class, so we chatted about that and some other stuff.

Then I finally left him alone and plopped into a bench near the snack bar and GASP, went back to geography.

CUPATSYK, dudes. Twitter and plurk probably WTFed at that. It was my method to remember all the damn mountain ranges. From left to right... more or less.

But we didn't have the test today.

We were all a bit flabbergasted. He forgot. We even actually tried to ask him but Strokanov is a man that can barrel on, so he barreled right into his lecture and we were all like "....okay.... maybe he's saving it for... later?" But we saw the time dwindle down and we were hardly going to interrupt his flow. So by the end he was kind of like "oops." I ACTUALLY WAS READY TO TAKE IT I THINK. Oh well, Tuesday.

I think he also forgot that I missed the past three classes. He remembered I missed Tuesday! But last week? Didn't seem to. So I just didn't mention it lol.

Then I headed back to the English department because I'd been trying to catch Dan, since I had missed the past two Critic classes :D; YEAH IT'S KINDA BEEN A BAD START OKAY. He... wasn't around at the time, BUT RICHARD. RICHARD WAS (I missed his Monday class LOL). Richard doesn't have office hours on Thursday. He's not on campus Thursdays. So this was like... awesome.

He discussed Monday's class with me, then we talked about my incomplete for one of his classes last semester, then we talked about incompletes in general ~~and we kind of talked about Red :D; "You probably will graduate in shorter time than Tom at least..." "Yeah, there's that."~~ and just stuff. IDK how long we talked. I stopped 'cause there was someone else lurking that wanted to bug him. Soooo I shuffled off, and lo-and-behold, Dan's office was open.

But no Dan :| I waited around in his doorway for him, staring at a clementine that was in his candy dish. Generally anything in that dish is for the taking but I wasn't sure... He came by, let me have the clementine, and we talked (my third English teacher who I talked for eons with).

Now see, Dan is the head of the journalism stuff. He's the teacher connected to the campus newspaper, The Critic. I hate writing news. Hatehatehate it. I spoke with him last semester of the possibility of a creative writing section, which had sparked my interest, but I couldn't do it at the time. So thought about it this semester, buuuuut.... it really wasn't settling with me, still. And the class that focuses on The Critic (you don't have to take the class to work on it, but you get credits for the class lol) starts at 6pm Thursdays and ends when the layout is fucking done (this can take awhile). It's annoying and tedious and I just can't seem to like it.

So, Dan starts saying, "Now here's something you might be interested in..." and I'm expecting it to be some different section in The Critic that I'd still begrudge in some way (Dan does know completely my stance on working on The Critic lol). Instead, he mentions a group of students working on a yearbook. There hasn't been an LSC yearbook in a really, really long time, but it's the school's 100th birthday, so they thought it'd be cool. It's 72-pages and Jostens is doing the printing and the most writing I'd probably be doing is profiling students from the 50s to what they are now. I can do that. That's actually kind of cool.

Some of it will probably be busywork but... I that kind of busywork I can do and oddly enjoy; it's like updating the lists of Paixao - sort of background stuff that flows easily for me. I'm actually pretty damn interested in working on it. I'm strangely excited for it. \o/ AND to put icing on the cake... I don't have to go to The Critic's 6pm meetings. I'll prob meet with the main person sometime on Monday - alas, the full group meets 3:30 on Monday and I have class, lol.

But it's just.... nrrrrrg. I love the English department. I'll probably never stop saying that :)

I DON'T HAVE TO WORK ON THE CRITIC. OMG. FOR ONCE THERE IS NOT JUST THE CRITIC FOR THE WRITING AND PUBLICATIONS CLASS. BEST. DAY. EVER.

*oozes everywhere*

Now to continue my productivity streak and go pay my Charter bill. Eheh.

THEN MY ENERGY WILL BE SPENT PLAYING DANCE CENTRAL. FTW.

So I was thinking about some of the money I got for Christmas and then started pondering Gally '11. I initially was like "TOTES GONNA GO" and then got guilty about school and stuff and decided I wouldn't. But I was thinking about school a few days ago and I'm really not that bad off, especially given that I took a break for a year.

That kind of made up that decision for me 8D Fifth Doctor is on of my faaaaavorites.

It's also like... a week before my birthday, so I could prob just make it my birthday present lol. I'm not toooo worried about rooming... I think MJ is possibly-maybe going so I might be able to flail and ask for corner space lolol. The only thing that'll be a pain is plane tickets lol.

...although poking at Southwest Airlines, they don't seem too bad :O

Raaaaaawg I'm sleepy. I just woke up, and I am without my therapy light, which I think I can safely say now DOES help me wake up. Oh well. It would've been a pain to bring...

So, Wednesday I came down to NH 'cause my brother was making broccoli and cheese soup~ To get to his place from my apartment, it shoulda taken me about 2 hours. Instead, it takes about 2 1/2 courtesy of OMG TRAFFIC from like... Concord and on. To say the least, I WAS NOT AMUSED. And poor Josh. He called me at one point and I just caught the 'J' before I answered and thought it was Justin so cue me ranting through the phone until I get "Uh... this is Josh" huioknbguijjhg SORRY AGAIN FOR THAT JOSH.

Thursday I got a good amount done. I was gonna go to RiteAid but I got lost lol. I THINK it actually was exit 7E I wanted. I was off of 6. I failed lol. I shoulda just turned around, but I kept on going and ended up in Merrimack lol. I was gonna go to Wal-Mart anyway, so I just went there and put in my prescription at the pharmacy.

Bought a scraper. Cleaned up my wall that many folk know had pictures taped to half of it lol.

Got my Secret Santa stuff done annnnd my muse cards. They went out this morning.

Oh. And I reapped the Master at Taxon on a whim.

Right. Life update. Richard and Chandler are giving me incompletes so I can salvage those classes. C in chorus, so I'll save three and lose two. I texted my mom finally and told her that I was doing better, not perfect, but better and that I figured something out with my classes. She replied that she honestly thought I dropped out and was afraid to tell her and she didn't know what to do x.x

Well, maybe her assuming the worst will make it easier to talk to her. I'll probably go home Wednesday, or something.

Hmph. LJ left me with some decent icons on this journal at least. It's generally such a pain when things go inactive.

MUSE CARDS are still available 'cause I haven't done them yet :D;; I think I need more stamps lol.

Other stuff.

Uhhh WoW-wise, Justin, my brother, rejoined. So I hopped over to his server, Bleeding Hollow, to make a character. Joined his guild, SG, and have been chatting over TS with some of his friends. He paid my membership fee, so that was nice. Made my undead lock. I wanted to go through the new quests anyway, and I haven't been disappointed. Heck, one even made me not completely hate Garrosh! That's saying something. It's weird when I do my dailies on my main though and then switch back over and get all "WHERE ARE HALF MY SPELLS. WHY CAN'T I DEATH COIL YOU? OH. I DON'T HAVE IT YET. SHIT. *DIES*" lolz.

At least I'll never have to worry about gold. Justin gave me 300 when I started and I barely started chipping away at it for glyphs and stupid wool cloth. So, Sunday he was saying he needed to head to Org, which is where I was buying out wool cloth and I was like "Hey, why you're here, could you toss a bit of gold my way?" ...He gave me 1200. It's good I have TS set to pushing a button to talk because my response was basically "Jesus. I said a BIT!"

Ah, the difference of siblings. I hate spending money in and out of game. He does it all the time (mainly because he can replace it quickly though, lol sigh).

Oh, it is fun being on TS with his "other sister" and her husband. Trudee and Chris. Trudee and I were basically "Why did you think it was a good idea for us to meet...?" because we both pick on him EVERY CHANCE WE CAN GET. Oh yeah, we're definitely sisters-not-by-blood 8D

Sitting in Brian's room. Yeah, I'm actually on campus. End of November Moye suggested I try withdrawing from classes. I didn't get back to him until today, where we've been bouncing emails back and forth because he wasn't on campus yet. Shockingly, there's still a chance that I can withdraw. If anyone can make it happen, it's Richard. I'm not sure what I'll do otherwise. Classes end tomorrow, finals are next week.

Still haven't spoken with mom about it. She knows something is wrong because I was on the phone with her a few days ago. I needed extra money to pay for fuel oil. Left her a message, she calls me back later in the day, and I know she's going to ask about other stuff but...

Kind of went like:

"Other than that, how are you doing?"
"Eh."
"...are you at least managing?"
".....eh. I don't... really want to talk about it right now."

Haven't really ever done that before.

I don't even know what I want from her. I just remember her condescending tone when I mentioned classes were hard to get through and she was like "well, you gotta push through, you gotta graduate."

I just want to snap back and say it's not that easy, and how can she eve talk? She never went to college.

Fuck I'm so tired. I've been going to bed like... from anywhere between 3pm-6pm and waking up after 2am. Woke up at around 5:45am today. Kind of in what I call a "lull" state wherein I could stare at a wall for a few hours and be at peace.

I don't know.

I don't... have any goals in life. I don't have any ambition. If I manage to get out of college, what am I going to do? I haven't the faintest of ideas. My writing has sort of twitched, but do I really want a career in it?

I applied for a job at UPS recently. Went to see them along with like... eight other people and they spoke about the job and the spoke with an HR Rep who sent me home to do part 2 of the app which he unlocked for me. Haven't heard back from them. They did say they'd hire up til the 24th, but... IDK.

I think I might try and apply for the package handling, that's what I should have done in the first place. I guess I didn't notice it, or something. Or I was doing the driver helper initially on a whim. I think I still could do it. The main problem is that you work in any weather, and I hate the cold, but I wouldn't have been the one driving. UPS also promoted with in and had benefits for part-time folk.

I really hope if I go for the package handling then I can get it. It's the sort of thing I could do, not that I can explain it.

I can't explain much of anything. I'll probably never find a way to properly articulate myself... it's hard, it really is.

In other news, I've been playing WoW. Finished reading all 8 Dal books this morn' and got the lil familiar~ Haven't really been focusing on my main. Lvl 63 lolz. Mostly been doing three dailies on her: the cooking and fishing Orgimmar quests and the venomhide hatchling quest. One more day and I'll have me a raptor mount! :D

Tried out the Worgen and Goblin starting areas. I made a Worgen with Kae and Rue on the Sentinels RP server, and my gobbie on my norm Eredar. I actually liked the Worgen starting stuff better :O Folk are like "it's dull and boring just like them" but I thought it was fun. *shrugs* To each their own.

I hadn't realized until yesterday though that the names of my two characters are similar XD I had made them like... a day or two apart, too. Junelle is my Worgen, Bethell is my Goblin.

Poked around with archeology earlier. It reminds me of the Chocobo Hot & Cold game from FF9, which I had always gotten addicted to XD Soooo I kind of like this.

Flying in Azeroth makes everything easier, especially on a PVP server. I managed to slide into Darkmoon Faire to peer around, and then chilled out on a Stormwind tower before I got paranoid and hearthed home XD Though I belatedly remembered a certain achievement and was like "Damn! I should've fished something up before I left!" I'll do that suicidal rush another time lol.

Probably will go back to leveling later. Whenever I'm awake. Moye said he'd bug Kascenska again if he didn't answer by noon. There's no way I'm seeing the dean til I hear from Moye.

Oh god what... I've been on a YGO kick o.o It's not completely out of the blue since I linked Paja to TAS and then started rewatching it. Somewhere along the way there was... something or other I wanted to rewatch of DM and I realized 4kids *shiver* had full episodes of the dubbed on youtube.

Now, the dub is like.... a million miles at the bottom of some nonexistent list beneath the subbed, but whatev. I could deal. I rewatched uhhh... part of the final battle against Pegasus, and then the Oricalcum stuff wherein Yami no Yugi is moronic and plays the damn card. That's some fun angst, right there. Too bad 4kids cut out him being punched by Jou later on. Watched the last part of the last ep of DM (subbed and dubbed, mmm comparisons). Uhhh... and then I hopped back to TAS, and I think I was at the ep with Isis and she was like "in ten years you'll open up a dueling academy" to Kaiba and somehow that got me onto GX.

I think it may have come up under suggestions, IDK. Either way I found myself watching the last episode because Yami no Yugi was in it and I was like "WTF THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE GX TAKES PLACE AFTER DM YnY IS OFF GALLIVANTING IN THE PAST WHAAAAAT" So I ended up on a wiki for a bit poking into stuff, like wtf the weird chick linked to Jaden was. And I actually got slightly pinged by GX 'cause apparently that series deals a lot with spirits and stuff... and damn if that isn't fun.

So, that was interesting, since I basically condemned any series that followed DM.

More TAS, then I get distracted (again) and start watching like... the last 4-5 eps of season Zero. Ahahaha. That season was so messed up but awesome in its own way. But the friendship speeches and heart of the card/dice/ect. actually existed in it o.o Color me surprised.

Somewhere along the way I played some WoW and did some stuff on my Warlock. Smidgen into 54, but after going through Blackrock Depths or whatever, I really don't think I'm up for dungeoning without Paja XD Good god that was a long dungeon.

And more YGO. I went hunting icons on yugi_icons until I was sorting into days. For the most part my goal was Yami no Yugi/Pharaoh and Yami no Bakura/Thief King icons, but I dabbled occasionally in other areas.

SO I'M KIND OF INSANE. ~~...but it's insanejournal lol~~ Except I made sure I could get an LJ counterpart (thenamelessking).

And because I like ~~useless~~ matching LJs, I have anamelessthief too ("thenamelessthief" was too long :|).

I can't believe I made an IJ lol. Seriously. I think I have like... one personal one for looking through PB icons, but heck if I remember what it is atm. But damn, icons @.@ I needed some way to channel them... sigh. Need to still icon some, and probably shuffle a handful out. ...I have approximately 200 icons in total after x.x I've learned that it really sucks having to go look a second time because I wasn't thorough the first...

I may just start rewatching the full series though. ...while skipping most of the dueling lol, except for the ones that I remember to actually have character development amongst them.

AND HOW IS IT 7:30AM?! GRAAAAAAAH.

ENOUGH YGO I NEED SLEEP. /CRAZY

On an unrelated note, I should be in NH Tuesday-Thursday. Probably longer. I HAVE to be down on Tuesday to pick up pies and I HAVE to be back before the 1st.

SO! Muse cards!

Muse Cards are basically my way of giving cards and a little something extra to all the important people in my life. The deal is you go HERE! and pick ONE (or two or whatever) muse that you want ME to write as. LARP this past weekend was enjoyable, though I did something to my quads so I could barely run much, and Sunday I was ill. NOOOOO THE SUN IS HIDING BEHIND A HOUSE ALMOST. THAT'S THE ONLY REASON I'M OUTSIDE. It's a lil windy out.

I'm still horribly behind at SC, but I had a good weekend. Friday was a lull day; I had a random want to go to Burlington, but I didn't want to go alone, and Brian was going home and Josh was at work, so that kinda flopped. I even called my mom and was like "Are you working today?" 'cause I was like "we could go Halloween shopping :D" but she was, so, sadface. BUT. Next Saturday she has no work so I'm prob heading down Friday night and Saturday we can buy candy and go shopping at Halloween stores to see if there's anything we want :D

On that note, if anyone wants to come up for Halloween, you can. Although I have really limited parking. I will PROBABLY be able to fit two other cars, but it'll be... interesting. And hopefully folk upstairs don't have anyone, 'cause I need my lawn for Halloween lol.

Donno what we'll be doing. But I lurve giving candy out to all the kids, and my mom'll be up because she loves it to and can set out the graveyard because I have kids and she does not hehe. I think Brian at the least is coming over - maybe Josh. I haven't opened it up to anyone else yet that I was doing this again. Last year... who else did I have... Patrick, John, Jen, Tyler, and Katie came late, I think. *shrug*

BUT BACK TO THIS PAST WEEKEND. Josh's oneshot LARP was Saturday. I went to the farmer's market beforehand. Got some cider donuts, tomatoes, and THE LAST~ cinnamon swirl bread \o/ I ate most of it on Saturday lol.

There were seven of us (including him) and it was fun XD It was basically a murder mystery with psychics and mediums afoot and oh, trying to bring people back from the dead 8D My character was a terrible person; she was a medium that basically went town to town befriending people, stealing their stuff, and then leaving and making the folk forget she was ever there XD She wasn't too happy about where her dad retired to because it was a small town with like... nothing good in it. But she did swipe some of the coroner's electronic and put them on ebay, got some free stuff, and then disappeared from town with her uncle who was possessing her father's body 8D Fuck yeah.

And then like... right after I took a quick shower and then headed to Littleton where Red was house-sitting and Paj was over~ We played a drinking game of Monopoly which was fun XD I think I had the most... (I had really shit luck in Monopoly XD), but I was fine. *shrug* Got to talk about everything under the sun which is always good I think. That was a nice place. I really did like it @.@ Nice view too and... guh. I lurved it.

Uhhh... so stayed over that night. Came back to the apartment Sunday afternoon and then went to pick up Josh and we got lunch/dinner at a place in Lyndonville which had fried ice cream \o/ And then I chilled out a bit til the radio show which I did NOTHING PRODUCTIVE during. I spun around in the chair and stared out into space most of the time lol. I think I got about one paragraph of Overcast written .__. OH. But I did have someone call in to ask about one of the songs (I played The Black Mages' version of Distant Worlds and they couldn't remember the title) buuuut they were like "I heard it and fell in love with it" so that made me pleased.

Sob. *listens to the downpour* Yes, yes, flash flood watch, yes... flood warning. Like that is surprising. ....Oh, hm. Apparently there were wind gusts up to 49mph at the college (it's good to have people at the college again, the meteorology dept can actually tell weather.com things lol). Apparently there were scattered power outages. Iiii think I experienced some of that. I was sleeping, but had my room light on, and I thought it flickered really quick twice, but then thought I may have been imagining it.

So, my grandma actually sounded really good on the phone. I promised I would call her next week too.

Buck still hasn't replied to me. Chandler did reach out to me, and we bounced emails back and forth for a little while. Lol, I can always talk to Chandler easy-peasy.

Music... the only thing that ever seems to draw real emotion out of me...

Tomorrow, I have to call my grandmother. She's not doing so well. Justin said it'd be good for us all to talk to her, since there isn't really a way we can get down there to visit. Our schedules are terrible. I just... I'm not really sad. I'm more upset for what my grandfather will be like without her. I think he'll have it in him to live awhile longer since he keeps active and is in better shape... At least he has the dog...

And then I'm thinking ahead and that's what slaps me in the face. I think I went to my mom's mother's funeral, but it's very fuzzy. I think I just remember the casket. I wasn't allowed to her dad's - I don't know why. I think there was another funeral I went to, but that wasn't related to family.

But that... I'd see my dad at. Little over seven years. I just hope it doesn't cause a scene in some way.

Part of me though... part of me is wary that when I talk to my grandmother she'll wish that I see him. She alluded to it once, years back. I can't... say no to something like that... I just hope she doesn't. I hope it doesn't even cross her mind.

Buck hasn't answered me. I probably side-swiped him with my email.

My therapy light is still in transit. ... I desperately need it. I'm growing to hate New England this time of year; I'm growing more sensitive of the cold.

I started seeing my doctor around March. So I didn't really have any seasonal stuff messing me up, and the prozac really helped, not to mention I was out in the sun a lot. I'm losing that now. It's been chilly and rainy and miserable out and I can't take it. It's going to probably change over to snow sometime next month - I seriously don't doubt it.

Part of me wishes I could get away with taking just spring and summer courses, but I don't think I can. Classes I need are offered in the fall. But.. if this light really can't give me what I need (I have heard good things about it, even from Brian), I'm going to have to see what else I can do.

I think... I could probably do some independent studies. Get those figured out. The profs would prob be willing, it's just dealing with administration. They can be pricks, but then, Moye is good for sticking it to them.

I have to write more of Overcast and get it to Chandler before he thinks I died. I'm actually vaguely surprised I didn't hear from him.

....ahahah. Strokanov is still the best person ever: I am tired to be on sabbatical and I want to see you all.

It's only been four weeks, but it must be bad if he's paying attention to his Facebook! I commented that we could trade; he could have my classes...

Sigh. He should come visit. That'd be nice. Maybe I'll go to campus early today so I can see Alan... it's been a long while since I've seen him.

Let's see if I can draw up a nice hot bath, soak amongst darkness and this song. Maybe a candle or two...

OM NOM NOM GUESS WHO HAS MAPLE SUGAR CANDIES. *-* They were at the pharmacy. I called in my prescription during break of my class (first time I've ever called it in XD Yay it worked /o/). Picked it up after class. It was much warmer and muggy out than it was earlier. Weiiiird. Looks like a storm is brewing.

Oh right I said I'd give a real life update, didn't I? LARP WAS FUN. *has been lazy to do her top 10* Chorus yesterday was good. I sat next to an older woman who hadn't been there in three years and defined herself as "old as dirt" (I'm pretty sure she was exaggerating, there are certainly people older than her) but she was enjoyable and social and that was nice, though since she took that seat, I didn't have the really cute girl next to me again. OH WELL. I WILL SURVIVE.

I should (still) really read Grendel, but I haven't played BBS in awhile and that is sounding tempting.
