i still want y'all to have it all, to peek and poke and maybe know a stranger. i want to be generous and hospitable, to make room for vulnerability and everything that draws me to others on the web. but the personal web is being eaten alive by bots and scrapers at a greater rate than ever.
i want to feel comfortable again and to do weird things and not be training material unwillingly.
there's probably better ways to handle this, and i'd love to know about them if you've got them, but this is my way, for now. it is the 20s and speakeasies are back, baby. what's old doesn't go out of fashion (and that's a hint). Speak thus, friend, and enter:

yeah I don't know what happened to plain old sphygmus (at) - I forgot the password almost literally the next day and didn't have it saved in my password manager?! so now there's a 2 in there.
