About "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared"
Near the end of January 2014, I learned about the videos of Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared by Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling so I decided to see what they were about. I found them weird, with some parts not making much sense. Many people said it was scary, but I felt annoyed and grossed out instead.
Since then, I’ve read and watched many interesting explanations regarding the video content, but I still don’t get the title. Which characters are scared and getting hugs?
Redd Fawkes explained some good and interesting interpretations of the title and content in his video, which I found to be scary.
However, it was weird, and I didn’t really agree, so I still don’t get what the title is about.
