After a brief debate with myself, I've finally decided to move journals. I love this thing dearly, but I just felt like I needed a change of pace. in good news, I finished retagging all my old entries! all that's left is to organize them and make them look pretty, and then I can give up on this fruitless endeavor.

in less good news, this also means that this journal is now basically friends only! just a quick post to yet you know what's up~ the computer people called and apparently it's too late to save my baby. the motherboard's fried or something? whatever that means. no one told me HOW it happened. I'll have to interrogate people later.
however supposedly the hard drive thingy can be saved, thank the lord! that's all I was hoping for, in all honesty.

but I guess this means I'll be shopping for a new laptop. ;3; any suggestions? I hope my parents don't wait until like, back-to-school sales start or anything, I might just die.

anyway, guess this means my hiatus is still on. I read an entire book on Saturday. it was insane. we watched three movies yesterday too. ALL THIS FREE TIME WTF. xD

I have no freaking clue what's wrong with it. hopefully maybe the power button just exploded? idk. I have to wait to take it to the computer-fixy people since we won't have time today grrrr. our desktop is so freaking slow, it took honestly five minutes to bring up Firefox. ~~and everything looks weird on this computer. my layout looks funny. tch.~~

I'M BACK

But I'm back from my trip to DC and Virginia. ♥ It was fun, we did well in the competition, etc. I'll type up a more in depth entry when I have time. As I predicted, I still have an English essay to write and 100 pages of Frankenstein to read. So I'll catch up with flists and comments and stuff slowly over the next week few days. If you see some loon has commented on an entry of yours from a week ago, it's probably me. aha.

Tomorrow at six a.m. I'll be setting off on my last high school orchestra trip ever. ;3; We're going to Washington DC and Williamsburg, VA, which should be interesting. I've never been to DC. (Williamsburg a million times, but we're not doing colonial-y things, thank gosh.) So if I just disappear tonight and you never hear from me again, that's where I've gone. xD We come back Sunday evening, but I have so much schoolwork to do that I might be scarce a little after that too. HUMOR ME, OKAY. I seriously don't get this. I mean like, your basic underwear is pretty much a swimsuit. Guys are allowed to look at women in swimsuits. But not lingerie. It doesn't make sense. (This is also of course assuming your underwear is not two pieces of string, but hey, lots of swimsuits are like that too, so whatever.) I was just thinking about this when we were discussing changing from street clothes to "fancy" dinner clothes on the trip and how everyone was like "WHERE ARE WE GOING TO CHANGE" and I was like "uhhh very skillfully on the bus?"

I'm not saying everyone should run around in their underwear, but come on. If someone sees you in your underwear it is not the end of the world. ESPECIALLY if they've seen you in a swimsuit. Like family members. My brother freaks out when he walks in while I'm changing clothes but he's seen me in bathing suits since he was born. And don't tell me it's any sort of "sexy factor." Most of my swimsuits are sexier than my underwear. Trufax.

With the way they were glaring at each other, Tear couldn’t help but think they looked eerily similar.

“What’s this brat doing here?” Asch growled, arms crossed over his chest and leaning menacingly against the doorframe. The brat in question sat on a creaky wooden stool in front of Tear, looking rather conspicuous with his spiky hair and dark coat.

“I don’t see why that is any of your concern,” Tear replied, rubbing her hands together as the last light of a recently casted spell faded away. The boy continued to glare at Asch, though he glanced down to look at his arm, inspecting Tear’s handiwork for a moment.

“You don’t just let strangers wander in whenever you please,” Asch snapped, stepping angrily across the room.

“Really, Asch, he’s just a child,” Tear said, shaking her head.

“And so is Anise, but that doesn’t stop her from trying to catch people in the shower.”

Tear snorted, moving away to riffle through her bag. “I doubt he’s going to try — ”

“That’s not the point!”

The boy, Roxas, cleared his throat loudly, interrupting the conversation, and the two looked over at him as if they had forgotten he was there. “Excuse the intrusion,” he said dryly, pulling on a pair of dark gloves as he stood up. “There’s no need to be jealous,” he added, rolling his eyes at Asch, who made a strangled sound and stepped forward threateningly. Tear stopped him with a slap to his shoulder.

“Don’t fight with children,” Tear chided, turning back to her luggage. Roxas glared at her behind her back. Asch growled again and, unstopped this time, grabbed Roxas by his jacket front, jerking him forward.

“Watch it.” Roxas frowned, whacking away Asch’s hands.

“Asch,” Tear said warningly, and Asch scowled, letting go of his coat.

Smiling smugly, Roxas brushed off Asch’s grip. “I suppose a thank you is in order,” he said to Tear, glancing at her back. But he didn’t say anything else, silently heading to the door.

Asch, however, didn’t think this was good enough. “Hey! Don’t just walk out! Say thanks,” he demanded, reaching out and pulling the boy back by the shoulder.

It happened so fast not even Roxas saw it coming. He stumbled, off balance, thrown backwards as Tear turned around saying,

“Asch, stop harass — ”

Roxas made a spectacular landing, faceplanting right on her chest. The silence afterwards was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Asch had an expression of horror on his face.

Letting out a yelp, Tear pushed Roxas backwards, her face burning red. Asch caught him unsuspectingly, out of reflex, and the two stumble backwards. Asch growls angrily, pushing Roxas towards the doorway.

“Just get out,” he muttered, slamming the door behind him. Roxas stood there, unsure of what exactly had just happened. Face red, he opened up a portal of darkness, deciding never to bring up this day to anyone.

A/N: I’ve decided I like Alice in Wonderland best when it’s some strange meshed-together version of the books and the Disney movie. It’s easier to write. xD And I’m pretty sure Zexion’s clones don’t talk, but just go with it, kay.

The forest was bigger than he expected, a miscalculation that was starting to annoy. He’d sent out several clones to speed up the process, but with no luck so far. The woods were filled with a plethora of strange creatures and the occasional Heartless, but nothing of major importance. The cat had been interesting, to say the least, the caterpillar headache-inducing, the duchess a drag. Pretty soon he was going to call it a day and go back empty handed. It was quite unfortunate.

Shortly, however, he came upon a small clearing and decided, not too optimistically, to try his luck one last time. There he found a curious sight: two identical men, short and stout, with fairly ridiculous hats (but who was he to judge, their group ran around in black leather), were having a rather one-sided conversation with one of his clones. He watched, silently, until the men realized he was there.

“Ah! Another one to listen to our story!” the first cried, holding out a hand.

“Come and join the fun!” the second added, extending his own hand.

Zexion’s expression didn’t change, glancing over the two. Their names were stitched carefully onto their shirts. Tweedledee and Tweedledum. How…fitting.

“I doubt there’s a story more fascinating than any I know,” he said at last.

Tweedledee wrinkled his nose while Tweedledum replied, “Our stories are no good?”

“Nonsense!” Tweedledee exclaimed.

Tweedledum shook his head. “Our stories are vitally important!”

“Not to others, but that’s beside the point.”

The two men laughed wildly, the act too comical looking for Zexion’s taste. Surprisingly, this whole would was too comical for his tastes. His clone stood silently behind them.

One of the twins — Zexion couldn’t tell which one, they had turned away — noticed the look Zexion gave his clone.

“Can you read your mind?”

Zexion raised an eyebrow. “Pardon?”

“You’re him and he’s you,” Tweedledee — or maybe Tweedledum — said. “Can you read your mind?”

“We can,” Tweedledum — or maybe Tweedledee — added.

“He needs not know what I am thinking,” Zexion said coolly. What strange people. What concern of theirs was it what he could or couldn’t do?

Both making faces, Tweedledee and Tweedledum shrugged, bouncing their words back and forth cheerfully.

“But where’s — ”

“ — the fun in that?”

“How do you tell — ”

“ — good stories?”

Zexion narrowed his eyes at the two. “Would you stop that, please?”

“Stop what?” they asked in unison.

“That annoying — ”

“ — finishing each other’s sentences,” Zexion’s clone finished off, to everyone else’s faint surprise.

Zexion frowned, and with a wave of his hand vanished the illusion. “I believe that’s enough of this conversation, as lovely as it’s been.”

“Does that mean you don’t want to hear our story?” Tweedledee said, moving forward.

“You can’t leave until you hear our story!” Tweedledum agreed, closing in.

Zexion, putting it rather bluntly, high-tailed it out of there as fast as he could.

ugghh these past few days. So tired.
Learned school was cancelled for Friday on Thursday night. Woohoo, four-day weekend! varrius calls soon after and somehow convinces me to let her sleep over Thursday night instead of Friday like we had planned. SHE LEFT THIS AFTERNOON. holy crap. we watched WALL-E and The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen ~~I love Eric Idle, man~~, and 13 episodes of Ouran Host Club. and went shopping. ...jeez, is that all we did for two days? wow. I HAVE A SPLITTING HEADACHE THOUGH NOW GRRR.

After Cassie left I played Persona 4 for like three hours since my parents were out. YAY. Kanji joined my team! I'm totally speeding through this thing, harhar. *is so behind everyone else*
