Canada Plastics Pact

The Canada Plastics Pact brings together leaders from across the plastics value chain committed to eliminating waste and building a circular plastics economy.

We rebuilt the custom, responsive WordPress site in a custom Bedrock setup.

We built various custom ACF blocks, integrated a new language switcher with WeGlot, implemented a new resource gateway, and made extensive upgrades to the existing Twig and Timber architecture.

SpaceRace collaborated with the Canada Plastics Pact team on this project. Céline Cobb created the design.

We were hired to renovate the custom Bedrock installation.

We updated the existing Timber and Twig architecture and added new ACF blocks to improve the user experience and site administration.

Energy Futures Lab

The Energy Futures Lab promotes innovation to accelerate the transition to a net-zero future.

We delivered a full website overhaul and brand refresh, transforming an outdated site into a modern, user-friendly platform that supports the EFL's evolving initiatives and partnerships. The redesign improved content structure, navigation, SEO, and audience pathways, while enhancing the existing brand through a refined logo, updated colours, and a more cohesive visual system. Built with security best practices, flexible templates, and a tailored admin experience, the site is easy for staff to manage.

We continue to support the team to ensure the platform remains secure, accessible, and aligned with their ongoing work.

Greenpeace

The People VS Oil was a Greenpeace Canada initiative to call attention to the damage Big Oil does to the marine environment of the West Coast of Canada, and to tell the world about the impact on indigenous communities in the area.

SpaceRace Digital was responsible for campaign marketing efforts, managed post publication and was responsible for technical support on the website, custom CMS, and mapping application during the campaign.

UC Davis Immigrant Legal Services Toolkit

UC Davis School of Law needed a portal in which to share their vast wealth of legal resources for immigrants and undocumented students with other higher education establishments across the United States.

SpaceRace Digital worked closely with the UC Davis team and the NexGenAmerica funding team to create the site architecture, UX, strategy and design, and built the custom WordPress website with resource gateway and member management system.
