Art Startup Challenge
Are you a Chilliwack-based creative ready to turn your passion into a sustainable career?
The Art Startup Challenge is an 8-week, in-person program designed to equip 15 emerging creatives with practical business skills and mentorship to help launch their artistic careers.
The Art Startup Challenge, in partnership with the Chilliwack Arts Council, offers expert-led workshops and mentorship. Participants will build essential skills in market research, sales, budgeting, marketing, and pitching. The program concludes with a live pitch event where creatives compete for cash prizes and a residency opportunity to help launch their artistic careers.
Program Highlights
- Hands-on business training from local leaders
- Final pitch event with $3,000 first prize, $1,500 second prize & residency at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre
- Limited to just 15 participants for personalized support
Weekly Business Sessions
To maximize the experience and be fully considered for the Art Startup Challenge, participants must attend all scheduled sessions and the pitch events. Your commitment to these sessions is not just a requirement, but a crucial step in your journey toward entrepreneurial success.
