I've heard your anguish
'Ive heard your hearts cry out
We are tired, we are weary
But we aren't worn out
Total Time [63:39]
1. This song is a cheeky look at the whole family. Yes it's Witchcraft, because they are all witches or wizards, but I also hold to the theory that every member of the Weasley family has that certain alluring quality that makes the rest of the world weak in the knees.
2. This is a song about Molly and Arthur early in their relationship. As in the last song, there is something about the Weasleys. I believe that Molly and Arthur were quite the hot couple in their day.
3. Bill's song is cool, like Bill. He's just the kind of guy who this works for. He couldn't get satisfaction until he met a part Veela.
4. Warning, this was a suggestion from my sister, who expresses brilliance one moment and intense blondeness others. In other words when I asked her why we thought this was a good song for Charlie, she said something about her ex. I'm now going to attempt a translation. This song represents a vaguely frat/jock rock nature with a twist of good taste and style. Not just your thick jock boy, but a mans man who also has a heart.
5. Percy is the middle child. All of his brothers achieve greatness without even trying. Percy has to fight for it and he always seems to come up short. In my mind, he just fells invisible.
6. This should be a little self explanatory. The Weasleys don't have an over abundance of money, but they do have an overabundance of love.
7. This is about the twins. As they, are obviously, wild.
8. Lean on Me is for Ron. He is the most steadfast person. It's a slightly cheesy song and everyone knows the words because they've heard it a million times. However, it's sweet and very Ron.
9. Ginny is beautiful. She's beautiful without even trying. That's why I picked Poe instead of something more Pop. Sexiness without trying.
10. This is a sweet and folky song. The lyrics and the tone of the piece fit the whole family.
11. A fabulous Beatles song that describes Molly perfectly!
12. This song is for the Burrow, because even the Weasley house deserves a song.
13. This song basically represents the Weasley family ideals. The golden rule, and fight for right and hang on it will get better.
14. This is another sister addition, so, I could, potentially, be totally missing the true point of this song. However, I will attempt to explain my choice. The feel of the songs and the tune and the lyrics, to me, means a belief in breaking the rules if you're fighting for what's right. I used this as a song to represent being a member of The Order of the Phoenix and the D.A.
15. This is another song about the twins. This is them when they are busting out of Hogwarts and out of Umbridge control. I think that if I was scoring the movie, this song would be in the background as they flew off.
16. This is the second Percy song. This is what he's thinking when he's not speaking to his family and writing letters to Ron about quitting on Harry. He wants his family to turn around and say, "Percy you're brilliant and wonderful and we were so very wrong for doubting you." It's not that he doesn't care, he just wants to be better than his brothers, once!
17. This is the second Ron song. Once again, it's cutesy and cheesy and everyone has at least a little soft spot for this song. Ron is the eternal friend. He may not be the best and the brightest, but he's there, and in the end, that's the most important thing!
18. This is about the fact that all the kids are grown ups. This is watching the world change and grow and now they are all adults. The youngest will be going into her 6th year at Hogwarts if it's reopened.
19. This is Molly's final song. Another one about growing up. This is letting your family go.

Part One - Song Entry
I call this little ditty "A Bit of Slytherin Advice." Hope you enjoy it.
Words can change the world
Words can destroy
But necessary words drift out of
The head of a girl or boy
It is often enough proved
That a lesson learned well
Could save a witch or wizard
From a place they would really rather not go for various unpleasant reasons…
Poor Fulbert the Fearful
Led a life of prolonged agitation
Cowardly as he was he hid
With a Defensive Charm for protection
Years went by before the backfire
Caused the roof to cave in
To that we in Slytherin say:
A good offence is a virtue, not a sin.
But more importantly we always append:
Always have a back-up plan
When hiding from monster or man
Never trust to one ward
Have a secondary safeguard
(spoken)
We too learn early to choose our secluded holes
To prevent discovery from even the tiniest of voles
(singing)
BUT we always have a back-up plan
Dymphnia Furmage went
On holiday to pretty Cornwall
Unfortunately a bevy of tricksy
Pixies came and ruined all
The rest of her life was spent
Scared of that terrible day.
Again we Slytherins claim:
Remember your pixie spray.
But we also very-much recommend:
Always have a back-up plan
A wand ready at hand
Exploring is crucial
But many ain’t your pal
(spoken)
We too have unbound curiosity for the unknown
And seek it out wherever it is sown
(singing)
BUT we always have a back-up plan
And Odo the Hero,
His tale too is hard to tell
He saved orphaned children
From a building ‘fore it fell
And as he rescued the last
The building tumbled on him
We say: Watch out for your head
When risking life and limb.
And to follow the paramount trend:
Always have a back-up plan
For your uncertain life-span
Show your sanity works
Remember gravity hurts
(spoken)
Heroism is found often in our house
Our nobility, assuredly quick to rouse
(singing)
BUT we always have a back-up plan
Part Three - Mix CD/Playlist
Andrea's Harry Potter Character Compelation! (Oh, and I don't really make images well, but I made the CD cover anyway. Just remember I had to use MS Paint.)

Louis Armstrong - Just a Gigolo (Oliver Wood)
Well, a gigolo is a very straightforward character, as this song displays. Just as straightforward as Oliver. Nothing gets between him and what he likes to do. Also it says something to the loss of youth, as often relates to the passing of an athlete’s career to me. Plus I always like picturing him in a pimp get-up when I’m feeling down and out.
Roy Orbison - Pretty Woman (Fleur)
As soon as Fleur stepped into Hogwarts, this is the song almost every boy would break into if HP turned into a musical.
Rolling Stones - Wild Horses (Ginny and Harry)
This song speaks more to the relationship between these two characters at the end of HBP. Harry attempts to distance himself from Ginny and Ginny won’t let him.
Garbage - The World Is Not Enough (Voldemorte)
This song comes from The World Is Not Enough soundtrack and applies so well to Voldie. It speaks to his quest for power and manipulation of people to get what what he wants.
Billy Joel - And So It Goes (Remus and Tonks)
This song, more or less, displays Tonks in their relationship because she was the one not hiding her feelings to Remus. She knew there were circumstances which could divide them, but still she didn’t shy away from getting closer to prevent sorrow.
Say Anything – The Futile (Draco)
Well, this band really gives off the kind of angst that is decidedly Draco-ish and the lyrics are the best ones to apply to him prior his last days at Hogwarts. “Eat, sleep, f**k and flee; in four words, that’s me. I am full of indifference.” It’s dramatic and self-centered, but in an intriguing way.
The Partridge Family - I Think I Love You (Hermione and Ron)
Umm, yeah. This is more of a song for the first half of Ron and Hermione’s relationship. Ron confused about a friendship becoming a relationship and such.
Punk Cover - You Are My Sunshine (Mr. and Mrs. Weasley)
If anything ever kept Mister Weasley from the Missus, I’m guessing that this would be the song for them. Besides that, I think this song could apply for Mrs. Weasley and her family, especially with her strained relationship with Percy.
Irish Drinking Songs - Kiss My Irish Ass (Seamus)
If you read the title, I don’t really think I need to explain that any more.
The Flaming Lips - Bad Days (Wormtail)
Well, this song is about a guy with a crappy job and a bad boss. Who in HP would be anything like that? Well, there was Percy with Rufus, or … I’m kidding. Wormtail is definitely this guy.
Blues Brothers - Jailhouse Rock (Lucius Malfoy)
You’ve got to find some way to entertain yourself in Azkaban…
KC & the Sunshine Band – Boogie Shoes (Neville)
I read this song title and remembered Neville in GoF and thought there was no way that any other song could be ascribed to his character. I adore him putting on his-his-his-his-his boogie shoes.
Winnie the Pooh - Hefflalumps and Woozles (Luna)
This is something I can picture Luna reading out of her Dad’s magazine and telling everyone around her. And it makes me happy inside thinking of that.
The Shins - Caring Is Creepy (Snape)
It’s the lyrics on this one that really displays the way I see Snape thinking and acting. “One day I'll be wondering how / I got so old just wondering how / I never got cold wearing nothing in the snow. / This is way beyond my remote concern / Of being condescending.” But that may just be me.
George Thoroughgood - I Drink Alone (Trelawney)
This connection is very apt. Even with the affection I feel for this professor, it is in fact what she does.
Seether – Broken (Dumbledore)
This is a song of loss and feeling disjointed with the world after a person has “gone away.” It describes how many of the students are at the end of HBP.
