Built from a Real Legal Research Problem
In 2008, Lakshman Srikanth noticed a problem close to home. His parents ran a century-old law firm, and preparing for cases meant painstakingly searching through stacks of judgment books for relevant precedents.
The work was slow, repetitive, and left little time for the thinking, preparation, and advising that matter most in legal practice. Lakshman set out to build something practical: a powerful, intuitive search platform for Indian law.
That idea became SooperKanoon - a platform designed to help legal professionals spend less time searching and more time on the work that requires their expertise.
