SONIVISTool

SONIVIS is an Eclipse-based open source software for analysing and visualizing virtual information spaces such as Wiki, Weblogs, or Social Network Sites.

The objective is to investigate different development stages of these information spaces and therefore to recommend appropriate knowledge management activities depending on each stage.

- Predefined reports (e.g. graphical statistics), Best-of lists
- Completely configurable workspace layouts
- Supports different network definitions, at the moment Wiki link network (information network) and Wiki collaboration network (social network)
- Filter function allows specific analysis of given categories, namespaces, and time periods
- Clustering of attribute data
- Metric-based graph visualization with different layout algorithms
- Time-frame-based animated visualization of network evolution
- Multi-level metrics (Wiki, Network, Node)
- Export of metrics as CSV and publication-ready LaTeX tables
- Export of metrics as any user-defined text format (via simple-to-use FreeMarker templates)
