For those who don't have facebook and want to know what is going on, this is the question asked there:

***IMPORTANT QUESTION, PLEASE READ AND ANSWER TRUTHFULLY:
Hey guys. I have a question and before anyone jumps to any wild conclusions, please understand that I'm only curious as to where everyone stands with me.

I know that you guys are being patient with TNF and I appreciate your patience and support and encouragement every single ...day, believe me. It's on my mind every day. But with the non-stop questions received at my other accounts (ffn, tumblr, formspring, twitter, and lj, mainly), about if I'm working on TNF at all or if it's ever going to post and specific dates... I was wondering, or fearing, actually -- if TNF is "too late", or if I decided one day to just not put it up and let it go and post other things I've been working on, like Ragweeds and new story ideas, would you guys continue to read other things I put up in the future, or are you only around for TNF, that's it, that alone? Would you be too upset bc you might feel you've been led on too long with TNF just to be let down? Would you worry anything else I started wouldn't be finished?

Again, I haven't made my mind up on anything, and I'm still working on TNF, but this is just something I've thought about for too long now, and feel I need to ask. If anyone can be honest with me, that'd be awesome and appreciated. Thank you so much. I adore all of you. *group hug*

Excuse me but I have to get this off my chest: Rihanna just needs to stop and go away, figure out who she is w/o all the hype. She makes me so sick anymore with all the crap she's trying to pull. Rape should not be used to promote a career...

If there was a sturdy calm message behind it, maybe some truth and information on statistics and contact information for RAINN, etc, and if she was doing this out of the kindness in her heart, that's one thing. She could have gone about this a whole other way. But she's just doing it for "entertainment", to look "edgy", oh hey, she killed someone who was attacking her, maybe more symbolism for Chris's abusive attack and she's so strong which she's still riding on and beating a dead horse over or whatever, who knows, but it's not cool and it doesn't make her look tough. It makes her look stupid. And the majority of people who have been through the ordeal knows that it affects the rest of your life, you don't generally "win" over the situation bc it's lose, lose, whether the man is put away, killed, or not turned in at all. Anyone who unfortunately experienced something like that will not see this as "art" and they will not take it lightly. I know I won't.

And yes, she might be attacked even if she did the statistics thing bc it's such a touchy subject, one that, I and some others feel, shouldn't be displayed as entertainment the way it is. But at least she'd be doing it for the right reasons -- to promote truth about it. And it's not that people want her to pretend the Chris thing didn't happen, but she's still using it to gain publicity. She's still using it as her money maker. Tina Turner was beaten to hell and sexually assaulted for YEARS and though she did have a song some argue was about it and did eventually speak on it, her entire second part of her career wasn't based solely on it -- and she gained more respect because of it. She showed her strength by going on and sticking to who she truly was. Not creating this hard, fake image to show how edgy she was.

(Not a musician, but Oprah is another one who comes to mind, who was sexually assaulted and had some rough struggles growing up, but didn't change who she was because of it. She grew from it, she spoke on it, and she didn't drag it on and on and on.)

It really irritates me that she's arguing about the artistic side of it. OK Rihanna can be artistic all she wants. It's one thing to reinvent yourself. It's another to lose your identity. She's really seemed to have lost herself.

And for those saying shit like, "I guess people see what they want to see because I don't see her using the CB incident so much as other people won't let it go. She's said numerous times she has moved on from that and I believe her. Can she not touch on the subject of rape/domestic violence without it being about CB?"

Well my response is, she didn't really touch the actual subject of rape, and the REAL aftermath, and she didn't show statistics about that OR abuse. She just tried to heighten her image of being strong and rough. She continued to play the victim/victim gets "justice" for what happened to her, and she did it poorly. Maybe if she walked away from all these things she's doing for a while, with this image she's creating or her label's creating for her, then maybe the public would let the CB thing go. But she chooses to continue on the rant, so people are going to call her out on it.

It amazes me that she thinks her video portrayed "the real world" and that she thinks her redundant choices w/her career is "art". And again, if she wanted to actually defend herself and her choices on Twitter, she should have done it to raise actual awareness, not promote more violence and/or death by revenge.

She needs to grow up and face responsibility for her actions. And she needs to figure out who she REALLY is. Wanna be the voice for women? Great. Do it responsibly and realistically... if she can figure out what those two words really mean.

Can someone give me some advice on planning an emergency flight?

I don't know if I'll be flying out tomorrow or Thursday, it just depends on the phone call I'll get later today telling me about the funeral arrangements (they're meeting w/the director today). My uncle, who basically raised me growing up bc my parents were so absent, who I called "daddy" bc I didn't even know better, who I have nearly every childhood memory with, died yesterday. I'm taking it pretty hard and I keep getting words thrown at me like "funeral discount" and "bereavement airfare" and I'm trying to focus and go on all these sites I can think of like Hotwire and Expedia and I just don't know what to do. My parents are driving home from vacation and everyone else is either busy or grieving so I don't want to bother them with this. I'm trying to avoid a really small plane bc I've flown in an 8-seater before and it terrified me to the point I was nearly having an internal panic attack. My Aunt told me if I booked at least an "Premium Economy" (??) seat it'd guarantee I'd get a bigger plane... I'll be flying by myself bc it was such short notice, and my husband only gets 2 days off for a funeral so he won't really have time. I'll need to fly out of Pensacola to Indianapolis...

Has anyone had to do this before and can anyone help?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to give some quick announcements.

1) I have started a graphics community with my bbdoll, sopolite , called lacedtocrown !! Yay!! From now on, all of my graphics -- including icons, manips, vamps, videos, etc -- will be posted there. I will still promote them here but the full post will not be here anymore. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do me a favor, and go to lacedtocrown and join/watch for future updates. It would be the world to me.

2) From now on, everything in my LJ will now be FRIENDS ONLY. So if you've friended me only for my graphics and don't want to be on here to see all my other stuff, that's fine, you can remove me from your F-List and join lacedtocrown . I will completely understand.

3) I will be doing a name change come February. I'm not sure what the LJ name will be, as I'm still deciding on it, but I wanted to go ahead and give a brief's heads up about that. As I am paying for it, all previous posts should still be intact, but it's always nice to give a head's up that way you're not scratching your head thinking, Who the hell is this? :)

This is the first time I've done something like this, and I'm not really sure how it goes when other people do it. I'm not even sure if it's GOING to go, depending on whether people want anything or not. But hey, I'm bored and need the practice, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

I'm taking icon requests. I'll do ten people at a time. This is a first come, first serve basis, so if you want something, better reply sooner than later. Once the ten slots are filled, I'll postpone the ones that come in after until the first sets are finished.

Things I need from you when requesting an icon:
1) Who's in it. Pictures are a major help. HQ and MQ work best. Posting the pictures is best, but links are fine too.
2) If you have any specific coloring requests. (If it's something I've done in the past that you like, link me to an example and I can try to recreate it.)
3) If you want any text.
4) If you want any texture on it, behind it, below it, etc.
5) If you want a crop that's less than 100x100 (aka if you like negative space)
6) Specifics are always helpful. Background colors, cropping wishes, etc.
7) Only 5 icons per person please.
