In this app you can explore almost any moon or planet of our solar system and visit remarkable nearby stars and see their location in the Milky Way. But you can also change existing bodies or add new ones and make a solar system of your own. The simulation will then act as a gravity and physics sandbox and recalculate orbits in line with Newton's laws.

Version History - Added comet C/2024 E1 (Wierzchos): visible with binoculars/telescopes in early 2026 (best in the southern hemisphere). - Added comet C/2025 R3 (Pan-STARRS): may become very bright in April 2026. - Added comet C/2025 L1 (ATLAS): moving toward the inner Solar System, expected to brighten in spring. - Fixed incorrect units in manual planet rotation input. - Banned unskippable ads (hopefully for good!). 0.365 Feb 10 - Fixed supernova's bugged lighting - Fixed planetary night lights staying on during daytime - Increased memory page size - Unity security fix - Other bug fixes 0.364 10/23/2025 - Fixed supernova's bugged lighting - Fixed planetary night lights staying on during daytime - Unity security fix - Other bug fixes 0.363 10/22/2025 - Adjusted 3I/ATLAS (interstellar comet) trajectory parameters from new available data. - Improved shadows - Bug fixes 0.360 10/06/2025 - Improved stability update - Performance improvements for the n-body part of the simulation - The simulation now runs much more smoothly when you select the "accurate orbits" option in the physics settings; when you select that option moons in tight orbits won't get flung out anymore - Fixed "Seach" and "Replace by" functions - Bug fixes 0.353 09/09/2025 - Performance improvements for the n-body part of the simulation - The simulation now runs much more smoothly when you select the "accurate orbits" option in the physics settings; when you select that option moons in tight orbits won't get flung out anymore - Fixed "Seach" and "Replace by" functions - Bug fixes 0.352 08/06/2025 - Added a surface temperature option (from the textures menu p.7) for each planet. For Earth, it's activated by default. Earth will freeze when its cold, and its water will evaporate when its hot. - You can change the temperature texture settings using the sliders menu on the right 0.350 04/16/2025 - You can now add magnetospheres to planets using the textures menu. Stars produce stellar winds that deform the magnetospheres. - In the physics menu, you now have the option to prioritize simulation accuracy over speed. It will prevent objects getting flung out of orbit during time acceleration, but may cause extra lag. - Switched from Euler to leapfrog integration for the n-body calculations. It should result in more stable orbits. 0.346 03/27/2025 - Fixed Mars texture - Bug fixes 0.344 02/26/2025 - You now have an option to add objects using spherical coordinates (Right Ascension, Declination and Distance from selected origin). Spherical coordinates for any body can be found on Wikipedia among others. With this option you can add objects in their scientifically correct locations. To use it, press the sphere icon after clicking the "Add new body" button. - Bug fixes 0.343 02/12/2025 - You now have an option to add objects using spherical coordinates (Right Ascension, Declination and Distance from selected origin). Spherical coordinates for any body can be found on Wikipedia among others. With this option you can add objects in their scientifically correct locations. To use it, press the sphere icon after clicking the "Add new body" button. - Bug fixes 0.342 02/12/2025 - Added comet C/2024 G3, which has reached perihelion on January 15 and will be visible for some more time - Collision now don't make craters by default. If you want collision craters, you can switch the setting on in the physics menu. - Fixed star and brown dwarf collision bug - Fixed bugged moon night lights 0.341 01/18/2025 - You can now add customisable asteroid belts to any star.
