About

OKLink

OKLink is a multi-chain blockchain explorer and on-chain data platform operated by OKG Technology Holdings Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx: 01499.HK). Originally launched by OKEx (now OKX) in June 2019, OKLink has grown to cover more than 170 blockchain networks under a single product interface. The platform maintains over 1,000 TB of structured on-chain data and has compiled a library of more than 3 billion address labels.

The Problem It Solves

Most blockchain explorers are chain-specific — Solscan for Solana, Etherscan for Ethereum, BscScan for BNB Chain — requiring developers, compliance teams, and analysts to maintain separate accounts and workflows for each network they monitor. OKLink consolidates access to on-chain data across EVM and non-EVM chains under one login, one API, and one explorer interface. This is particularly useful for teams that operate across multiple networks or conduct cross-chain transaction tracing.

Key Products

OKLink Explorer: A public block explorer interface covering 170+ blockchains. Solana-specific data includes TPS, epoch and slot information, SOL supply, staking metrics, token browsing, and NFT tracking. The explorer is localized into 12 languages, with strong coverage of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other Asian-language markets. Users can browse transactions, track addresses, and view smart contract details without an account.

OpenAPI: Programmatic access to OKLink's full dataset — transaction histories, wallet balances, token metadata, contract ABIs, and contract verification results. Contract verification on supported chains takes 30 to 60 seconds. The API supports plugins for Hardhat, Foundry, and Truffle, making it usable directly in developer toolchains without additional integration work.

Onchain AML: An enterprise compliance product covering 139 chains. It provides KYT (Know Your Transaction) and KYA (Know Your Address) APIs with sub-100-millisecond response times. Risk scoring uses a five-dimension model assessing address exposure to illicit fund flows. The product is positioned for exchanges, OTC desks, and DeFi protocols that need automated screening of counterparty addresses and incoming transactions.

Chaintelligence: A forensic investigation tool for tracing crypto assets across chains. Primarily used by law enforcement agencies and compliance teams conducting post-incident analysis. Chaintelligence provides visualization of fund flows across wallet clusters and bridges.

Solana Coverage

OKLink's Solana explorer provides general-purpose blockchain data: network statistics (TPS, validator count, epoch/slot), SOL supply and staking overview, token and NFT browsing, and transaction history for any Solana address. Contract verification is supported. The depth of Solana-specific analytics — validator performance, DeFi protocol TVL, MEV activity — is more limited compared to Solana-native explorers such as Solscan or Step Finance, which are purpose-built for the Solana ecosystem. OKLink's value proposition on Solana is primarily for developers and compliance teams who already use OKLink for other chains and need Solana coverage within the same workflow.

Team and Background

OKG Technology Holdings Limited, OKLink's parent company, operates as the data and analytics subsidiary of the broader OKX ecosystem. The company is publicly traded in Hong Kong. OKLink was originally incubated inside OKEx as an internal data product before being spun into an independent product unit. The company does not publish individual team member information publicly.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

OKLink is best understood as a multi-chain infrastructure tool with Solana support rather than a Solana-first product. Its primary audience within the Solana ecosystem is developers building applications that also touch EVM chains, compliance teams at exchanges that list SOL and Solana tokens, and international users — particularly in Asia — who prefer OKLink's localized interface over English-first alternatives. For teams that need deep Solana-specific analytics (validator metrics, DeFi composability, stake account tracking), Solana-native explorers remain more comprehensive.
