2017-10-07 -- I had to change the name of the magazine because I found out that there actually [i]is[/i] a magazine called "Trend" -- it's put out by the University of Iowa. So...after trying a lot of different names (you'd be surprised what's taken in real life), I found [i]this[/i] name that wasn't being used. I promptly changed the pertinent text in the story before it gets published (in the master file), and I changed it here in this picture (still had the Publisher file, so it was an easy fix). I'll have to change the text that's posted on here. At least I caught it before a possible lawsuit... >.<

[b] From my story, "[i]Tangled Vines[/i]":[/b]
Here's Ilen-Jaa'an, Ilen-Saa'an's mother. At some point in the story, Craig sends a "family photo" of Ilen-Saa'an's family back to friends of his on Terra. Eventually, a modelling agency "discovers" her, and offers Ilen-Jaa'an a lucrative contract, which will eventually raise the status of House Ilen back on Mûr Zhæn.
I drew this using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil, a Pilot G-2 05 pen with black ink, colored pencils, a black Sharpie, and various blending and shading tools on Georgia-Pacific's "Everyday Copy & Print" paper. Text added using Microsoft Publisher.
