sure like what kind of pointer, the main ones i have are, practice, use references, look at other artist's styles to help improve your own, don't be afraid to trace (just as long as you give credit if you post) tracing is a way to improve your drawing capability, and one of my favorites, watch movies and listen to music for helpful influences ^^

To tell you the truth ive never been to a fur con before so i dont really know how much it costs or what you have to wear srry, I dont have a suit either but i want one XD

I use Copic Markers. They are really, really good. High quailty, but be warned, they are pretty expensive XD

Yea its a real pain, but if you hunt around there are places that sell them individually or for a lower price XD.

Also another suggestion, Prisama Markers are also high quality and they cost less but always be sure to have test paper with you cause the colors on the markers aren't always the same as the in ink the pen. Maybe a shade lighter or darker ^^
