A Wild HappySorry Appears!
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Thank you SF for finally being back online so I can post this!
This time of year, as the weather gets cool, I always seem to get the itch to bury myself in fleece and craft. Had been looking at images of ball jointed dolls lately and I've always wanted to try and make one...but I lack the supplies or the know-how. But, while poking around in a fabric store, I had the thought to try making a ball jointed plush instead.
My original test was actually a cross fox [I'll take photos of him soon]. He turned out great...though has some flaws, so I'm going to keep him rather than sell him. However, I did save the pattern I made while creating him and have learned from mistakes I made in the process. I'd like to offer this sort of thing as a commission...but I thought that before I do, I ought to see if I could render someone's character first.
SO, I'm sorry for not asking first...but I chose you HappySorry! This little guy stands a little over a foot in height. Arms and head are fully pose able and the legs allow for sitting or standing poses [though he doesn't stand on his own]. I also tried to design the face so that the opening for the mouth is hidden until you pull his lips apart. His mouth is a little less than an inch deep...so he can "chew" on stuff if you like. ^(._.)^
