This is an old piece.maybe 6+years old or so.done freehand and in Pen,i sort of just winged it one day in art class when i was bored,but the design overall is very sleek,so i keep it around.A Serephine Strider,in my story universe, are gigantic flying beasts that have been tamed for the purpose of war and conflicts.this specific one was captured personally by my character Soren Kisamora.at which point he outfitted it with a proper metal mount and propulsion system so that he can fast travel around the country at will.
Wild striders tend to stay elevated,at higher altitudes than mounted ones can sustain [due to their heavy armorset]. both variants have those hanging tendrils.while their naturally used to stop movement,dragged across the ground as anchors to stop a strider,combat Striders have blades mounted to them so that they can perform fast hit and run tactics to assist in battles.
