"Fursona" a Manifestation of a "Persona"
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Imaginations really pulled me off my work. I was originally practicing human models while chilling with my family before bed. My habit took over and I continued beyond just trying to construct an image of myself... Btw I don't have equipment to upload images in high quality, so I used what I have at my disposal. (a phone camera) The techniques and ratios might be abit fuzzy or off, so feel free to give feedback for improvements.
This image explains my understanding of imagination and reality, linked together by creativity. They are distinctively separate, but can be bypassed by various methods. In my case, I access my imaginations by deep thoughts, which are the strongest at night. The imaginary world manifests through my artwork, or even my writing.
No matter how hard I try, I couldn't draw my own face. It always had the baseline of an expressionless tone. In contrast, I could express emotions and feelings better through my character or art, but I never felt that they have a truly complete form. In my perception, creativity exists in different forms on both sides. One takes the form, the other takes the spirit (essence, soul, nature, whatever you call it)
About the background of this picture, especially my character persona (or fursona), has plenty to explain. I'm planning to make a proper drawing with this, probably when I sharpen my skills enough to incorporate color. (this picture can't be complete in my mind without color) The characters have alot of background, and I provide pieces of info in my journals and posts. I can't reveal it all at once, it's overwhelming.
