Furtasian Loch Kelpie
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
One of several cute seahorse adoptables I traded Lyla_The_Sabertooth over on FA for quite a while ago.
'Feral' or 'base' animals in my fantasy world of Furtasia are any sort of normal, non-sentient creature; from a normal farm chicken to a wyvern (non-sentient dragon).
Furtasian Kelpies are a type of malevolent faeriekin monster that inhabit lakes, rivers, swamps, bogs, or any other body of stagnant or polluted waters. They are carnivorous, and will snatch living prey, particularly humanoids and other sentient races, from the surface and drag them under. Kelpies will bury the corpses of their prey in the mud or silt at the bottom, and slowly feed on the corpse over the course of several days or weeks (depending on the availability of prey).
