Actually, it is K-Bar, if I'm not mistaken. Also, the structure of the sheath is wrong for a K-Bar. They look more like booney knives, with a serrated 'saw' section on the backside.

The knife i use for my special forces is different from whatever existing model. It is a design i created, like mostly everything else about the Predators... Actually, the Predators knife takes inspiration from both the WWII Commando Knife of the british commandos and from the Spetznas throw-knife, with its spring-based launch system capable to project the blade forwards at over 18 meters for second.

Overall, trying to find a concrete resemblance with existing knives will be a not succesful task, and one that i don't suggest anyway. Thanks for your interest and comment anyway, hope you like this.

I care a lot about anything it’s military, from tactic to the technology behind it. It’s an amazing field, and it can be incredibly interesting… at least, it is to me. And bah, the sword is always useful… and far better than any bayonet in the close combat, that can always occur. Even a sniper could walk into enemies entering a building to take position or something… and the Predators are an assault team that don’t hesitates to openly search the hand to hand to exploit to the maximum their physical superiority, so it is an important piece of equipment. The Predators have even a ordnance shield, a 21 century version of the Scutum of the ancient roman. It’s rarely used, but there is that as well. And oh. The Death’s Cloak is very hard to explain, but I’ll try to convoy a few concepts, I can manage to with my poor English. Essentially, we see things because of the refraction of light over the thing itself. The idea, took from the Radar Absorbing Material used on planes and ship, is to use a transparent layer of special fabric over the normal uniform and armour. This layer is made up of nanomachines that work as mirrors: light coming on the surface is captured into those pentagonal forms that you see in the drawing, that have into them a lot of mirrors that continue to make ricochet light in all directions but never towards the outwards. This, anyhow, would generate a sorta of black hole, anyhow, since we would just see a stain of darkness walking… but the mirrors are also thought to take the image of the surrounding world on a side of the soldier or the object and visualize the image on the other side… so that everything is covered with this cloak it’s invisible. The sniper has most of its armour and uniform covered with this layer, plus he had a true cloak of this special material, can he can throw over himself when he’s in place and waiting for a target. Since it makes snipers still harder to spot and so much more effective, it received the nickname of “Death’s cloak”.
