The cover for the original paperback version of that novel is quite interesting as it shows a mixed team of humans and cats all building a small arched bridge together, each contributing depending on their skills. The architect is a cat and has a square-edge tucked into its loincloth, while a human is holding the plans, and everyone else is doing various construction tasks. There's something completely plausible about the whole scene that makes it immensely charming.

I've loved the DRoP stuff since I was in middle school. ^.^
