"As (since I am) the fish of a grammar fan"
How would you have it worded?
How about "As a fish belonging to a grammar fan...?"
:P
I understand- betta to rhyme with letter, right?
I hadn't heard the name before- so is this the Siamese Fighting Fish?
Nice job!
Yup, rhyme with Letter, sorta. If you're in Britain.
And yup, this is a Siamese fighting fish.
I mean, other than my name, how do you recognise me? :P
I am in Britain, indeed.
I've had tropical fish before. Siamese fighting fish are quite aggressive if they aren't in pairs, but they do have pretty tails.
I've found that cichlids (angelfish etc.) are also pretty aggressive towards other species of fish.
Plecos, I've found to be pretty dense as far as fish intellects go, but they are great algae-eaters that live to great ages and sizes.
Oh, and I once had a weather loach! That's an interesting fish if ever there was one (my opinion, of course)
I keep my betta with snails and they seem to ignore each other. Plecos! I love plecos!
*goes to look up a weather loach*
Perhaps I could remake this? I've gotten used to it, but I think I ought to have a change sometimes- it can't hurt.
Plus, it's sort of spoiler-ish. I mean, I can tell you the name and where it's from, but the backstory leading up to it is incredibly suspenseful, so perhaps I shouldn't have it here.
Thing is, it's a "small enough to not be recognised by most, but meaningful to a few" sort of thing. Sort of a grey area.
I only said I thought that plecos were kind of dense because mine certainly was. He loved to sit in this ship ornament, and one day when I was cleaning out the aquarium he was still in the ship when I thought he'd moved!
He was still in the ship, out of the water, and the silly thing would not budge no matter how much I poked it! I think it was oblivious to what was happening. Don't worry, he didn't suffocate (if that's the right term).
Weather loaches get there name because it is rumoured that the more active they are the more likely a storm is to happen. I think they are very interesting fish. I'll leave it to you to find out more ;)
If there's a site manual or something I'd be glad to read it. ^^
I shouldn't probably have this picture, anyway- I nicked it off of the Internet, I didn't make it, and it's possibly spoiler material...
Hmm....
