Had lots of fun reading everyone's votes and tallying them all =D thanks very much for those that voted! Raven Wolf really has a great bunch of fans =)

OMG! Of course Yula knew! Didn't see that coming, but while it is his story, it is about the world, not about him. He's STILL my fav. But he is def. Not the romantic lead. Of that we are certain. But what is this about Eve not topping Dolly in the list. That doesn't make sense, she is committed, excited, smart, good looking, well reasoned, hot dressing, -- I dunno if she can cook as well as I can, but definately "Mate" material, there. I like Dolly, but she just doesn't attract me. Not My Type, ...
And how is Zach in the top 10 at all. KitKiller! Monster!

If you think the story revolves just around Yula, then you're in for a biiiiig surprise later on xD

Zack probably got higher from the novel reader's votes, as he goes through a lot of character developments and changes as the story progresses.

On a side note, Eve doesn't really cook, she's often too busy with her projects or working around her father's museum. So she takes advantage of the cafeteria the museum has and just eats the food the cooks serve there.

Well, I was just thinking what a wonderful Mate she would be for someone like me, who cooks, not well, but she's so attractive and smart and has such a good heart, that I'm a little bitter that others don't agree with me. Oh, well. If I read more of the written works, perhaps I will understand Eve being so far down, and Zach being so far up. Reading Informs!

I agree with you that she'd be wonderful. I guess the problem is that she's under appreciated considering she takes a backseat in most of the books.

Well, dang-it, I'm going to read the written story then. This is just too interesting and complex to leave to the images, although I DO like the artwork.

Well, I'll have to read the text. I think she'd be a wonderful Mate, and since I already have one, ... I'll ship Teddy to her, since I can't have her. He deserves a good mate.

Congratulations to all who voted and congratulations to all the candidates. I'm not too surprised about this order as there's a consensus on who went where...Teddy, Yula, Shiya, and Iuana were pretty obvious. As for the rest of them, they were kind of grouped up. For example, the beginning is Teddy and the Wilds, then the "Museum" crew, then the military and finally the kids. They're almost all in chronological order in the way that they are introduced. Furthermore, I feel like their character development is in about that order...err not so much Lumia Masters since we still haven't really learned enough about her story, but definitely the others.

P.S. Why is Zach such a cutie. That face! It's so crestfallen :( I love the little captions you made. They definitely sound like each character xD

The captions were a lot of fun to do xD Mort's pretty much always a "..." though so I threw Alistair in to help him communicate to his fans better xD Mort will get the hang of it one day I'm sure.

THAT'S ALISTAIR?! Hold on Hold on Hold on...Checks page...Checks other picture with angry Mort...Yup that's him alright. I didn't even notice xD And YES. Lumia is secretive about herself. Her and ______. Who I'd really like to see is her father! That'd make for an interesting development :3

Oh man this made my day. Eve and Yula always seem to make me smile. Love the drawing and captions.

All the Wolves got clumped into the top 5.

I did not expect a reply from the author of the novel.

I do my best to communicate and respond to comments =) although sometimes it's hard for me to think up good responses.

Oh. Cool. I wish I had known about the poll before it was over. I would've voted for Iuana, and if I did it would've been "ONE COIN!" all over again.
