He's the Oogie Boogie Man...er...Dog

So, I'm a huge Tim Burton fan and The Nightmare Before Christmas is my all time favorite movie. Earlier, while waiting to watch Frankenweenie with my boyfriend, I got to thinking, "What would Oogie Boogie's dog look like if he had one?" And so this little fella was spawned. I haven't come up with a name for him, but I'm not sure if he really needs one. :3

I always thought that the ghost dog from the Nightmare Before Christmas and the skeletal dog from Corpse Bride could have been from the same dog.
As for the picture itself, it's a good one, though I dunno if Ooge Bookie's the type for pets. He's sort of a hive mind himself.

Also, Frankenweenie both has themes to the original Frankenstein book AND movie, and has all kinds of references to Tim Burton's previous stuff. It's a subtle, respectful self-refereence, though, so it won't come off as annoying. Did you and your boyfriend like it?

Last night was actually the third time I have seen the movie (cried all three times) and the first time he saw it. He enjoyed it very much. And I'm not necessarily saying Oogie would treat the dog like Jack treats Zero. I think of him more as a guard dog or something Oogie uses to teach Lock, Shock, and Barrel a lesson.
