This is Jace Luckyfoot. A Red-bellied Drake anthro. Luckyfoot is actually a nickname given to him. As lupine as that may sound, it was actually derived from his unusual feet... and his luck. If you did not notice, his big toes are on the outer side of his feet instead of being in their usual positions on the inner side. Thankfully, his ankles are where they are supposed to be... He was born that way and yes, he does walk a little funny. But, does that matter? As far as I know, he is a nice guy and definitely knows how to treat folks right. Its amazing how many judgmental and prejudice assholes are still out there... They expect everyone to be normal. Poor guy sometimes does not get a break...

Anyway, aside from his 'special' feet, he has an unusual concentration of luck. How much? Its all over him. I have seen this guy effortlessly escape mishaps too many times... and most times, he was not even aware! Falling objects never hit him, just nearly miss. He never steps on anything wrong, just steps over whatever it is without realizing. Idiots who insult or make fun of him almost immediately get payback without his intervention. Lotteries? I hear dollars... big bucks! However, he cherishes his gift enough to take good care of it and only uses it when he really needs it. A very down-to-earth individual who lives his life a day at a time and lets nothing stop him. Very relaxed and carefree nature... a great chill out buddy.

Now, as for the wings... He can only flap off the ground in quick bursts of energy. They are not strong enough to support him in mid-air on long runs. However, they work really well for breaking his falls. They spread out and capture air within their leathery membranes, making his abrupt decent smooth and his landing almost graceful. He glides down with them.
