Rika Potts is the youngest member of cell Hotel. She's cute, she's sweet, and she's oh so adorable but this cute and cuddly exterior hides a much more sinister personality underneath. One of Rika's major interests/hobbies is studying the occult. Rika is still too young to really read any of the books and grimores that she's managed to acquire from her dad's study... but she like the pretty pictures and symbols they have. Maybe this is why Rika is so fearless in 'toying' with the dark arts... she doesn't fully know what she's dealing with. Strangely, Rika seems to have a better understanding of all the strange symbols and diagrams in those old tomes than some of the more experienced researchers in occult material. While magic isn't really something that the furs of the MHALL world will openly believe exists... that doesn't mean it isn't real.
Rika also seems to know how to speak a couple lost languages... despite having nobody teaching her. She keeps all this knowledge under tight wraps from her parents, knowing that they would either drag her to a priest or worse... send her to Catholic school.
Rika's fetishes:
Rika's studies in Witchcraft, Voodoo, Wicca, Druidic, and Demonic rituals and rites are a great passion to the little vixen. While she may seem all sinister and evil looking preforming these ancient acts, she never really has any malice or thoughts of darkness when she does them. To her they are just ways to make neat things happen. The only time she ever has been known to use her talents for harmful purposes is in defense of someone else. She's never used her talents to defend herself whatsoever... yet.
While Rika may seem to be oblivious to the source of these powers, she does know one thing... that there must be some form of either sacrifice or offering made to keep these forces appeased. As a result, Rika likes to engage in ritualistic sex. This way she gets to feel good as well as pay her 'tithe' to the forces that give her power.
Rika's home life is rather lonely. Both her mother and father are archaeologists and tend to go on long exploration trips for long lost civilizations and artifacts. They used to take Rika with them when she was still too young to go to school, but after a close call within an old ruin that left toddler Rika stuck in an ancient sacrificial chamber that they had to find their way into through several deadly traps and collapsing passageways, they started leaving their daughter behind. Rika is looked after by her aunt and her cousins while her parents are away.
While in her aunt's care, she tends to spend a lot of time in her cousin's tree house where she keeps some of her 'souvenirs' from her parent's stash are hidden. Strangely... Rika's aunt has moments where she seems to be 'missing blocks of time' that she can't account for, and her daughters say that sometimes they feel like they are being watched when Rika is staying over. But that's just silly superstition right?
