Grandma's ride got pimped!
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
This model 1970 Ford Galaxie model was inspired by an episode of the TV show Pimp My Ride.
Here's what happened in that episode: a teenager's grandmother swindled him out of $8,000 for her 1988 Buick Century. With all the rust spots, missing accesories, and cigarette butts, it wasn't even worth $80! When a friend told him about the show, he pleaded with the producers to have his car fixed. The result: the West Coast Customs shop replaced the missing accessories, removed the smell from the cigarette butts, repaired the rusty areas of the body, and gave the car an "old school '50s style" custom paint job. The colors were different from this car, but it still had scallops.
For those who haven't seen the show, you might want to go to http://www.youtube.com and type "pimp my ride" in the search bar. Trust me, if you like cars, you'll love this show.
