Next part and we're already at the main enemy for this story. I think General Tsao came out great.

While all that had been going on with the missions, the rest had left to look into the fortress as a last minute thing for any weaknesses. "Well it seems this operation has gone smoothly," Nicholas said as his group returned to the safe house. "I'd say it's time we made a go at Jing."
But upon arriving they found Menodza and Rose all flustered and the remaining ones who had come back before hand all looking grim. And the safe house was a wreck. "Wait, what happened?" the long haired vulpine asked.
"It's General Tsao!" the shorter haired male answered. "He found this place and found the plans we have! All of them! How'd he find us?! We're doomed!"
"Alright, calm down!" the other male stated. "I need you sharp. This Tsao character is much more cleaver than we thought. As of this moment, we have one goal; steal back those plans and anything else he may have taken that belongs to us."
"The time for undercover is over. Mendoza and Rose, break into the palace with a few of the others and ransack his personal computer. The info on what he did with our stuff might be there. The rest of you stand ready. No telling where this might take us."

The same team who had gone in before quickly made their way back in. It didn't take long for them to find it and for the hackers to get in and the info. There was also something about a secret passage through the bell tower nearby. Nicholas, Topaz, Jade, and Paul figured they should head out and see this for themselves. The bell part wasn't a problem but the next was trickier.
"Okay mate, what did that part mean about a walkway across the heavens?" the corsac fox asked. The reason was because the group of four were at the top of a cliff and no path was visible.
"I wonder…" Jade whispered. Spotting some snow since there was a lot of it, the petite vixen took some and threw it in front of them. It landed right on top of something, an actual bridge.
"Like how did you know that would work?" Topaz asked.
"Just a hunch. Sometimes that's always the best way." Paul gave his girl a teasing, but loving kiss on the cheek and all four crossed to the other side. They reached another cliff edge and found a tunnel. The rest of the group were in contact with them. The foxes made it out to an area that had tall bamboo shoots and trees. A fine mist covered the valley like area that didn't have snow.

"You guys stand back, I'll go on ahead," Nicholas stated. He and his girl had a quick kiss before the long haired male jumped out and landed on top of one of the bamboo shots. His katana came out just as General Tsao appeared by jumping from a lower level to the vulpine's level. The Asiatic Linsang had a shield on his left arm. He wore a purple colored helmet that had a flowing red plume attached. His armor was a well made breast plate with a purple shirt underneath. The pants were flexible metal of some kind.
"Ah, the famous Nicholas Russo," the enemy commented. "It seems you and your little gang were able to follow the trial I left for you. Of course you'll be helpless without them as you'll soon discover."
"I'm not ashamed to rely on my friends."
"Who needs friends when you can have servants? Who needs affection when you can have obedience? Ah, why try to connivence you when I can simply destroy you. This sacred forest has been the stage for hundreds of battles, as my ancestors crushed anyone who got in their way. And you will will be no different."
"Um… like what is he talking about?" Topaz asked into her communicator since she was so far away.
"It's a belief," he boyfriend answered. "The energy from all the fighting held strengthens the combatants. We'll see how this goes."
"Enough chit-chat, Russo!" Tsao stated. "Face me now, and prepare for the end of your legacy!"
The vulpine leaned back and used the bamboo shoot he was on as a spring board to launch himself forward. The enemy was ready and at the same time began throwing some kind of knives attached to strings at the fox so he could pull them back and throw them again. Tsao's shield also spun, revealing hidden spikes on it as a way to be like an offensive weapon. Nicholas deflected the knives with his katana and shot at the General with one of his guns. The Asiatic Linsang was quick and jumped to another bamboo shoot to avoid the shot. The long haired male realized firearms wouldn't work.
"Will he be alright?" Topaz whispered as she looked on.
"He'll be fine," Jade answered and got a grin. "You may not be with him up there; but your spirit is. That guy could never win against Nicholas who knows how to love."
The petite vixen's words came true as suddenly during the second crossing, the long haired male was able to land a hit with his elbow. Tsao seemed to go down but quickly recovered and was back at the fox's level. The jumping happened and a second hit was scored. However right when Nicholas landed again the Asiatic Linsang was right next to him and lashed out with his shield. The vulpine wasn't quick enough and got clipped in the side by it. The attack didn't draw blood, but it certainly hurt. Growling Nicholas tried to strike with his katana but Tsao had already jumped out of reach.
Now they were so far apart the General began to using his knives again. This time the vulpine waited for him to jump close and moved. However the attack didn't make contact as the long haired male was one second too slow. The swing from the katana missed. Then the fifth pass came and the fox narrowly avoided the enemy's attack. The two opponents landed and glared daggers at the other. They then charged and this time met in a display of weapons. While Tsao had the shield, Nicholas also brought out one of his grappling hooks as a second weapon. The katana was a blur while the grappling hook was like a ribbon around his body, striking at various angles.
"Holy crap…." Paul whispered. Jade was shocked; the vulpine had gotten even better. Topaz had seen her boyfriend go through even more training to be on the safe side the whole time before getting to Ogel had even begun. At last there was an opponent to bring this new form out.
Tsao sent a kick which sent Nicholas back as it got him in the gut. The vulpine was able to grab onto a bamboo shoot. Before the enemy could come in for the kill, the other male jumped and the plant came forward, whacking the enemy in the face. Stunned, it looked like the Asiatic Linsang would fall to his death. But the enemy was able to recover as well and landed safely. "My turn," Nicholas stated.
The guy put on a boost of speed and was able to score another hit. But Tsao again recovered and with his strength sent the fox face first into a tree. The other three watching winced and Topaz covered her eyes with a gasp. Her guy yelled out and spun around to face the enemy who had gone to the tree branches. Now the two were jumping back and forth between them and clashing. Then their weapons and the shield came together in a brief standstill. Nicholas grunted and managed to knock Tsao down to the lower level of the forest floor. The vulpine followed and the other three quickly went down to join him.
The Asiatic Linsang noticed these others. "Well we've had an audience this whole time. Good. And well done Russo… I'm impressed you've lasted this long."
"Stop this Tsao," Nicholas growled. "Release Jing King and this fight can end."
"No! Jing King is mine. Once our bloodlines cross it shall be glorious. The Panda King, in his day, was magnificent. With the Tsao name, a new generation of Kings will be unstoppable!"
"But she doesn't want to marry you!"
"She's a female, she doesn't know up from down," the General shot back. That made Topaz bare her teeth and Jade to growl. "Once I 'convinced' her father to take up meditation she was ripe for the picking."
"LET ME AT HIM!" the petite vixen snarled. Her boyfriend had to hold her back.
"I know you're pissed love, but like that you'll just get killed!" he told Jade.
"I know how you feel, but I've got this," the long haired vulpine said with a glance back at the angry vixen before turning back to the problem at hand. "Besides I'm the best to do it since he doesn't know what love is. I've faced a lot of bad people in my life time. But you; you're just the worst! Worst then scum!"
"Oh it gets worst Russo. Up until now I've gone easy on you… but now, now you'll sample the ancient martial arts of the family Tsao!"
The Asiatic Linsang charged in but was one second too slow and got hit back by Nicholas. Some of the shorter bamboo shoots were broken and thrown at the vulpine. One found their mark and landed a cut. It wasn't a serious one but began to bleed. A couple more blows were exchanged and the fox could see this time the style in which the enemy was using was a strange, mixed one not seen before by him. But it wasn't hard to keep up. The next strike from the long haired guy was from the katana, slightly wounding Tsao. He was sent tumbling back into a river in the area that was shallow.
The enemy then started using surprising maneuvers, like sweeping the shield underneath. But these were spotted and dodged or blocked. Nicholas kept striking back and it was clear the Asiatic Linsang had less stamina due to being older and was beaten down.
"You have won this battle," the enemy spat after picking himself up all bruised and battered. "But the war rages on! Take your foolish plans, it won't help you." He tossed them at the feet of the fox. "Jing King is mine."
"Jing King is a person, not property," Nicholas snarled. "You should take a lesson from all of my team members including me on how to love a female the right way. And sorry asshole, but we're ending this, right now!" The vulpine rushed in but was stopped by some powder that created a smoke cloud thrown by Tsao. The other three also couldn't a thing.
"Beware! Beware the power of Tsao!" the enemy's voice echoed through the area. He had gotten away, but now it was time to strike back even harder.
