FINALLY a picture of Retsis with her wings! Like, what IS this? Right? xD
I keep talking about how she HAS these things yet I've never uploaded a picture of her with her wings lol
(I've drawn her wings on her, but not on something I've put online lol)

She has to wear something that will give her an open back, allowing her wings to come out. But it also needs to protect to some degree. While dragon skin is durable and hard to penetrate, it can still be damaged.

So she wears leather armor on the front of her torso, reinforced by strips of thicker leather up the front, and reinforced steel shoulder plate on her non-dominant arm while the other has it only on the upper arm. This gives her wider range of movement for swinging her axe.
The gauntlets are made of the same leather as her outfit and has steel plates on the outer sides.

This is the typical armor for female officers in the front lines under her regime. The males have something similar with the same pattern of black and light brown/yellow leather. Thought the metal armor placed on top might differ, it's usually the steel with copper edging to keep things uniform.
