He's already lived longer than they said he would and his tumor shrunk with the chemo - into 4 separate tumors where they had metastasized to various parts of his body. It's still not good, of course. They're getting the chemo cleaned out (can't operate with that in your body) and maybe...they'll try to do something surgically.

good he lived this far. with time, im betting he will get better and stronger and then fully beat this!

Everyone responds differently to tragedy, and I understand that's how you've dealt with the matter in your own life.

As for my own theory, I would rather sum up the situation to chance than there being a possibility that some malevolent force was out to get my brother, or a pathetically self-absorbed 'benevolent' force was out to punish him for some crime.

In my mind it didn't happen for a reason. It's just luck of the draw and my brother got dealt some bad cards.

He's strong. I believe he'll pull through.

Well I do hope he does. Either way, whether it be because of something malevolent or benevolent, there's likely some light he's added to someone else's life through all of this. At the very least, there's that. <3
