I really, really like the intro. I do think that the original synth is just a tad overpowered when it comes in at first, but once the distorted stuff comes in it sounds pretty cool.

I like the slow break after the intro as well, especially when it turns all pretty again. I'm a total double bass whore when it's done right, and THAT is how you do it my good man! Since that part composes most of the middle of the song, the really heavy distorted parts kind of seem slightly out of place, but for the most part they kind of work.

Right before the ending, once again, the song just kind of seems to... fall apart. It's just... not really my thing I guess. But the actual ending is pretty cool once again.

Overall:
This is probably my most favorite of your songs right now. I REALLY dig the soft/techno parts. As I said above, for the most part the death guitar works, although I couldn't help but wonder what the song would sound like with them either toned down or completely gone. Anyway, if I could give this more than 5*s I totally would, but I guess you're just going to have to deal with 5... Awesome job!

Second, I don't know what you mean when you say the song falls apart. The ending is my favorite part, it's powerful, meaningful, and ends on a possitive fadeout.

Maybe you've never heard hardcore music before, and i'm not talking about hardcore techno. you should check out some cool techno hardcore bands, like Attack Attack, or Helia, or Abandon All Ship and I Set My Friends on Fire

What I mean about "falls apart" is that, when the guitar and drums have their solo, you kind of lose the flow of the song, especially when the rest of the song has a fairly consistent beat to it. It just seems rough and unpolished to me. It's powerful, yes, but I feel the same way about Metallica's "St. Anger" album. Anger, yes. An enjoyable funneling of that anger, not really.

Again, this is just my personal opinion. If you were trying to get a rough and unpolished kind of thing going on then you did a good job. I'll admit that I'm not the hugest hardcore techno fan around, so I may not be the ideal reviewer of something from that genre.

Just give it a try, if you don't like it, that's fine :3

I didn't say that I didn't like it or have never heard any before, its just that it doesn't dominate my playlist. When done right, techno and metal can make some good music together. Although, I must admit that I'm usually not a fan of harsh vocals.

The style eoes seems dark, but the sound choice made it look like rave music. Good one anyway
