Back in the eraly 1990s, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo had a Snow Leopard Day celebration of sorts. Among the things that they had was a snow leopard pelt from an animal that had passed away. It was amazingly soft. While I am sorry that he was no longer alive to wear it, it was nice to be able to feel what their fur is like.
