Through the pines
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
An autumn's day, crisp and clear, the day is dark and the air still, calm and thick with the sweet acrid scent of pine resin from a thousand sleeping giants towering tall and majestically into the, pointing the way the heavens beyond. treading a path through the forest you come across a stand of smaller trees, young strong and flexible on firm roots, their days spent drinking deeply the moisture and nutrients of thin sandy soils hanging onto the poor loams deeply through rain and storm alike.
Suddenly a sound and a movement from the low hanging bracken's and grasses as a dear stumbles out from behind a tree, pausing in its clumsy gait to regard you with a piercing stare from wary eyes. Time suddenly stands still, an eon passing between human and beast in the stand off fear of startling the small mammal freezing you into place amongst the trees, desperately trying to avoid the small pangs of guilt and shame at startling the hyperactive grey creature. A scratch and a crash reverberates loudly within the clearing, the deer taking off at top speed through the widely spaced pines toward the light, clouds parting bathing the forest with a piercing and ethereal glow from a dying orange sunset.
(May delete this later on hehe, got mildly carried away, and no I didn't get the deer :P)
Now for the boring stuff... actually do you know what? stuff it simply enjoy the photograph :)
if anyone want's to know more about the particulars I'll happily tell though :)
