Went and saw Dredd last night. This drawing hardly resembles any characters in it, but I recall chuckling at Mr. Dredd's serious lines and unchanging frowny face -_-

Great movie, by the way. Go see it sometime.

I plan to. This movie is suppose to be closer to the comic that the one done by Stallone in that Dredd never showed his face.

I never read the comic or saw the original movie. In any case, I thought this new one was very well made :)

The first adaptation I don't think you missed anything. The comic is just a bit of history. From what I see of the previews this latest adaptation can stand alone.
