This was it, Garyu thought, I’m going to ask here now! He was so nervous, he felt his heart beating one hundred times per second. “Dawn, I, uh…”

Before he could say another word, the other dragon leaned up against him and sighed contentedly. “Isn’t it just such a beautiful night out?”

Garyu’s face flushed crimson as he gulped, sputtering out, “Oh ah… yes, most definitely.”

He glanced over at her, the beautiful contours of her face practically dazzling in the moonlight, those ocean blue eyes of hers shimmering brilliantly. He was so struck by her beauty that he seemed incapable of ushering the words he so desperately wanted her to hear.

Dawn flushed as well. Little did he know that she had a similar question for him as well. She glanced over at him, smiling widely, feeling so lucky to have him in her life. “Garyu?“

The purple dragon snapped out of his trance and looked at her. “Y… yes?”

“I want to be with you… forever.”

Garyu’s heart leapt in his chest. “Ah… I too… would like that.”

Dawn’s smile widened as she kissed him on the cheek, causing his entire face to flush red. She then rested her head on his lap.

Garyu brushed his claws through those lovely blue and white locks of hers and sighed contentedly, happily. “Forever…”
