Amorous Love Chapter 3
So now with this chapter not only is it different in terms of the story that's in the game, but also what Skye's cosyplaying as. I think she came out good.

First Convention
The next day Nicholas woke up again and checked his phone so he could text Skye for details about the convention she had invited him to. To the fosky's surprise, the vixen had sent him a text last night. It read, "Hey Nicholas. Had a a great time yesterday! I'm complying at a costume convention this weekend. If you're not busy, would you like to come see me there? I'd love to introduce you to my friends."
The male smiled and instantly texted back, "Sure that sound fun! Send me the details and I'll see you there."
She soon did and in just a few days, the guy was in the convention center. It was being held inside a building that already existed in the town but Nicholas had never been in there. It was enormous. The guy mostly just followed the crowd to find his way over. "I wonder if I'll have any luck finding Skye?" he wondered.
Suddenly a male colored blue and white in a costume that came from the same T.V. show Skye had been cosplaying from approached the first male. "Hey bud, do you need a paw with anything?" the new guy commented. "I noticed you've been pacing around the room on your own for awhile!"
Nicholas realized it was another cosplayer that had peeled off from his group of friends and playfully hopped his way over to him. "Oh I'm okay thanks!" the fosky replied. "Just waiting for a friend. I've been having trouble finding them."
"What's their name? I might know them!"
"Skye. She said she'd be on this side of the building."
"Oh yeah, she's right over here!" the second male said. "Good thing I came over, or you many have been standing here for awhile! Hey Skye, you friend's here!"
Nicholas smiled as this guy was helpful. The fosky noted that the cosplayers like Skye seemed very outgoing. A lot were approaching and posing with pretty much everyone walking by. The vixen then came over and the fosky's smile got a little bigger. He noticed this time her fur was mostly orange like his. But the neck fluff, tail, and the top of her head was a golden like yellow. Her eyes were black and the pupils white, no doubt due to some kind of colored contact. "Oh Nicholas!" the female stated. "I'm sorry I left you hang around like that! I was swarmed by some old friends I haven't seen in ages! I see you've already met Lexy."
"It's quite alright," the long haired male replied.
"Nicholas huh?" Lexy commented. "I forgot to ask, are you dressing up in a costume today?"
"Bruh… Do I look like I am in just regular clothes?" the fosky replied with a grin. "Maybe if I had a little more advance in notice I might have."
"That so? I made this costume myself!"
"Go easy on him Lex!" Skye stated. "This is your first con right? It's probably all a bit overwhelming for him. I'm so glad you made it!"
"I am to," the fosky said. "To be honest, I almost didn't recognize you Skye. Fur color is often the only way I can tell people apart these days!"
"Skye is always taking her cosplays to the next level!" the second male explained. "She won fifth place last time for her costume! She even shave her fur completely sooth and painted her bare skin to get the shiny smooth look!"
Nicholas was thankful that his shorts made it impossible to tell what was going on down below as the thought of Skye oiling up her smooth, painted 18 year old body was doing things. And there was the fact that she probably barely wore any clothing over that either. The vixen let out a laugh. "Thanks!" she stated. "You should have seen the costumes that won. I wish I had that kind of talent! Do you know that character I'm complying as today?"
"I told you at the game store I played those series of games so of course I know who you're being. I really like how you've taken a predominately male character and give it a sexy female spin."
She blushed but looked a little pleased by the comment. "Sexy?" the vixen asked and let out a nervous laugh. "I wasn't even trying! I picked out the clothes you and me found at the clothing store since you liked them so much. That and the colors worked!"
Nicholas noticed the female wasn't the only one to dress provocatively for her costume. Lexy was also showing off more fur than what would be suitable outside of the convention. Still the fosky liked the atmosphere of the night-clubs and knew it would also be a good place to see Skye rock her look even if it wasn't her thing. The male was more of a dancing kind of guy with a little fun. Still going to these might not be a bad idea. "I think you did a great job with the costume Skye!" Lexy stated. "You might even be considered for first place this time!"
"No offense Skye, but first place is heading my way!" went a third male voice. It belonged to a canine like person with a red trench coat, sword with a skull on the guard, an small hop earring on the right ear, and with the hair died red orange and blue. His brown and dark tan colored fur went with the orange colored eyes. "You're Nicholas right? Skye's been going on about you all morning."
"Oh has she?" the fosky asked in a teasing tone, grinning at the vixen.
She blushed harder as more of her friends began to crowd around the fosky. He wasn't aware that the vixen was so poplar when it came to this kind of stuff. But that was second to how Nicholas was feeling about Skye talking a lot about him. It made him feel good and his heart beat a little faster. "Now Hane remember, this isn't a competition!" Skye said, grinning again and the blush going away. "I would be flattered if you won! It's fun for me just showing up!"
"I'm just messing with you guys," he replied. "I bet ten bucks Nicholas knows my character!"
"They're not going to be asking me this all day are they?" the fosky wondered in his head. He thought Hane might be cospylaing from a video game. Nicholas knew the title but had never played it.
"We're probably smothering the poor guy!" Lexy exclaimed. "Hey Skye, why don't you show Nicholas around the convention?"
"That's a great idea!" she replied. "We'll catch up with the rest of you guys latter. C'mon, follow me Nicholas!"
The vixen quickly placed his paws within hers, guiding the fosky around he bend of the corridor. He noticed this and blushed, his heart beat increasing even more. Her paw felt so warm in his. When they got there, she let go even though Skye hadn't minded. "Sorry about that, my friend are really nice when you get to know them," the vixen commented, looking down again. "I think Lex could tell things were getting a little out of hand." She then smiled again. "You shouldn't have to feel like an awkward third wheel to my friend. Let's spend an hour together, just you and me!" The vixen blushed again, at least at the thought of it to the fosky. "I will have to head back over after that though. There's events held throughout the day and I really wanna be there for the group photo. Guests are allowed for that."
"Naw it's cool," Nicholas replied. "I wasn't being bothered!"
"Oh really? That's good!" Skye smiled again looking relieved. "So what do you think of the convention anyway? Are you liking it?"
"So far. It's exciting and I've been enjoying the spectacle of everyone getting into their characters even if it's a little in your face at times! It's like Halloween for seniors at high school or elementary school that I remember quiet well only bigger."
"I'm glad you're having a good time! There's a whole room of people selling awesome anime, video games, and comic book stuff! Wanna go check it out?"
"Hell yeah; sounds fun!"
Skye guided Nicholas to a line of people waiting to enter a large pair of doors. She skipped right to the front of the line, seemingly knowing the security guy by name. "How the hell did you do that?" the male asked. "Did you do that guy a favor or something? How did we get in so easily?"
"I'm a super sponsor for the convention," Skye explained. "I pay a bit extra to help fund the con staff and get some cool perks like free lunch and line cuts!"
"I just went with the ten dollar guest pass to be honest."
"Nothing wrong with that! I just like to support these things cause they really mean a lot to me. Conventions are the one place I truly feel comfortable enough to be myself."
Nicholas just smiled at that as they went in. There was a lot of activity but the guy was able to keep a cool head. "Oh yeah, I can definitely seeing getting some stuff here Skye," the fosky said.
They walked from booth to booth. The male noticed the vixen was peaked with excitement and energy he had never seen from her before. Dancing and hopping around the front of the booths, clapping her paws and spinning place with joy. It made him smile again and his heart beat increase. To see her like this made him happy to. However the time seemed to fly by too fast for the male. Her friends then came into the dealers area before an announcement came on. "Hey did ya hear that?" Hane commented. "The group photo is staring in 15 minutes! We'd better get going so we can get a good spot at the front!"
"Oh shoot you're right!" Skye replied. "Me and Nicholas must have lost track of time check out all the tables.
"Does he know you're not allowed in the hot room unless your in costume right?"
"Yeah sadly those are the rules. It's dressup only. Hey Nicholas I really appreciate you coming and hanging out with me today!"
"It was my pleasure," Nicholas replied with a smile, slight blush on his cheeks. "I'm just glad you had fun with me. Plus I got some things I don't regret buying. I guess it's best you take off for the photo thing."
"Yeah, the preparation for the photo alone may take 45 minutes as it's gonna be over a thousand people," the vixen stated, getting a sad look. It was like she didn't want to leave the fosky. "After that is a parade around the convention which may take an hour. I couldn't' ask you to wait that long for me!"
"He could always hang around take photos of us in the parade!" Hane suggested.
That cheered Skye up. "Hey that's a cool idea! Would you like to do that?" she asked.
"Sure I've got my phone," Nicholas replied. "I'll look around the con some more until the parade starts, then I'll snap some shots from my phone! I'll be sure to show you latter."
"Awesome, I can't wait to see you there!"
"And hey, maybe next time you'll pay the favor in return with what that acquaintance of mine said to do."
"How could I forget?" Skye asked sweetly and then walked off knowing to keep it a secret for now. Nicholas was breathing uneasy for some reason and thoughts of the vixen went through his mind the rest of the time there. When saying goodbye her smile stuck in his mind even more.
"Could I really be…?" he asked, wondering if he was falling for Skye. The age difference wasn't that big and she was 18 so that was fine to. The fosky just smiled, figuring it was best to let and see where things went.
