Now I'm curious about this comic project... Maybe something in Baywatch style? (It was the first thing that came to mind when I did read "lifeguards"... *^^*) It will be very interesting to see! I hope you can finish it soon.

"Lifeguard! Lifeguard! There is a man drowning over there!" A middle aged, portly fox male shouted, jumping and waving his arms uncontrollably right by the lifeguard's post. He didn't have to - the guard, a tall, young, muscular and very pretty sea otter femme - have already noticed the struggling swimmer. Some thirty yards from the shore was another middle aged fox thrashing in the water, his head repeatedly disappearing under the surface.
With a soft sigh, the guard grabbed the plastic floater buoy and ran down the stairs of her watch post, across the few feet of sand and launched herself head-first into the water.

She reached the fox within seconds, yet despite her speed, she found him immobile and floating face-up just below surface. Without any hesitation, she grabbed the guy, turned him around and spooned him up with one arm then started hauling him back to the beach.

He was limp and not breathing when she dragged him onto the sand, yet, when she started to clear his muzzle in preparation for the resuscitation, she noticed his half-lidded eye stealing a glance at her chest.

The sea otter smiled thinly as she went through the motions of the CPR. The guy wanted to see her boobs bouncing... fine, she'll oblige. She tipped his head back, mashed her lips to his and gave a mighty blow. When the "breath of life" didn't help, she shifted slightly, carefully positioned her hands on fox's chest and pushed down energetically.

To his credit, the guy lasted whole three strokes.

I need saving! ^^ Probably a lot of mouth to mouth...
