Mystic versus Wizard
In the early days of Magnum's travels, he encountered a feline wizard by the name of Urso the Mist Maker. With one being a natural born wielder of the arcane and another who studied such wonder, the two spared against each other with the mystic at first trying to overwhelm his opponent through sheer force, but half way through the first battle Magnum had adapted a more dispersed and fast moving style of attack and the fight ended in a draw. The both of them turned into quick allies when the world came under attack by a group of pirates, their abilities on full display to each other, the spells that Urso conjured were ones of summoned creatures and arcane mists of wind and fire while Magnum's water and wind streaked the sky and his beam attack obliterated all it touched. When the battle was over, both decided to spar once more... this time with their full magical arsenal.
