Beautiful May
In Sweden we have a saying; "Sköna Maj" which would translate to "Beautiful / Pretty May." It has gotten that name due to the arrival of early summer, where so many flowers and trees go into full bloom. Right now as I'm typing this, I'm looking out the window over my garden where the cherry tree is in full blossom, the lilacs are just starting to open up their pods and the fields are green with cucumber, onions, strawberries, blackcurrant and herbs of a dozen different kinds. And in the middle, a tall beautiful rose which has just started to shoot leaves after a slow awakening after winter.
So what better time than now to upload this beautiful artpiece? Here we see a Val - the natural one and not the cyber kind - peacefully working with all the plants in her greenhouse under a golden summer sun. She is at peace here, working alone with her hands, just as she likes it. Perhaps she is also crooning softly on a melody while she puts extra care into her glittering moon roses. They are a beautiful variant of the Osiria rose, pearl white with a shimmering light blue hue, almost turqoise. She made them herself for someone special in her life, and their scent is rich, closely resembling forest honey.
