“You see, I’ve been patiently waiting for someone to open the door to this world,” it laughed maliciously as more black tentacles sprouted out of its back and moved around like snakes. “I spent so much time watching your world grow, the chaos that exists, imagining the chaos I could bring. But now… ohhhhh now I can finally stop imagining and start DOING.” it said as it lessened its choking grasp on the cat.

“And you’re the one to thank for all of that, you stupid little mortal. You have my gratitude,” it said with a mocking showman’s bow.

Even without his neck being crushed by the tentacle, Sly was still hanging in the air with his feet kicking as he tried to escape. He whimpered and every time he tried to call out for help the creature somehow knew to squeeze his windpipe ever so slightly so that it came out as a gasping sputter of nonsense.
