Okay, here it goes: This is part of the entrance to the "Ricardo Güiraldes" Gauchesque Museum and Creole Park (I am not entirely sure that "creole" has the exact same meaning than in Spanish) . In synthesis, a museum about rural life in the 1800s. The cannon in the background of the picture must have been involved in the quarrels between the more "civilized" populations and the original native populations.

To be fair, I was not interested at all in the exhibition, so I can't provide you with further details save for a few other shots (which, after a few rounds of afterthought, I consider "target practice").

Thanks for explaining. I looked it up and discovered Ricardo Güiraldes was a writer and poet.
