Sa'leh Daan-tui'ena - First One
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
From my novel series, "Daggers of Darkness":
Here's Sa'leh Daan-tui'ena, a First One, and the great, great grandmother of Night Song (from 'The Sacrifice for Peace"). Sa'leh has a lot in common with Night Song, personality-wise and looks, though she has the more intense, wilder look of the other First Ones. Sa'leh likes to have fun, as you'll learn from the story, only her idea of fun might rattle someone's world. Literally. She's good friends with Naoia, so Sa'leh will usually listen to her when things are starting to get a little too carried away. Sa'leh's common name is Storm Singer, and her wolf-ship's name is R'arena (pronounced: R-ar'ena).
I drew this using my usual mechanical pencil, colored pencils, and ink; scanned the drawing at 600 dpi and in 48-bit color, and then used a combination of Pixlr online image editor, Photoshop 6.0, and Publisher.

Yep, it's like she's looking right at you.
Her drawing is right next to me on my bed while I've been posting a copy on the various sites I'm on, and I find myself looking over at it and saying, "What?!" and she just gives me this little smirk like she's up to something...(probably is, no doubt).
I think I captured them fairly well. They seem to just look right into you...
