This has been a long time coming. My first fursona, Cami has kind of been retired to just an OC. I made her as an avatar for myself before I decided to transition, but she quickly turned into an OC I kind of just used as a fursona because I didn't really care about my fursona's gender matching up to mine.

I more wanted a fursona that was an avatar of me though, but it took me a while to come up with what I should do for a new one. When I made Cami I hadn't seen a lot of black bear fursonas and I saw how many were just... the same and boring. So I didn't want to just make another male black bear that was similar to her. I considered a polar bear and asiatic black bear, but really I didn't want to change from a North American Black Bear, so I decided to another color phase. I think it's kind of a shame more people don't do that, bears come in more colors than black and brown, black bears have the more diverse colors of any other mammal in North America. I settled on a Glacier Bear (blue-gray color phase) because not many people know about them and that's kind of a detriment to their sub species.

And even though he -is- supposed to be an avatar of me, I'm kinda hesitant about making my fursona transgender because of the distasteful way a lot of people in the community will use that sometimes. But I guess that wouldn't come up in this sheet anyway, but more the NSFW one. So we'll see when I get to that.
