So hwen I was lining up my various OCs for my previous submission I was going back through old art for references because it's just been that long with some of them, and it turns out the last time I had a proper go at drawing this fella was 2007, yikes. Since I felt like drawin' s'more today, thought I'd give him the ref sheet treatment next. ...So here it is! Managed to knock this one out in just a little over three hours.

Fun fact: it's pronounced like "rear," not like "tire."
Fun fact II - Electric Boogaloo: "rire" is the french verb "to laugh" which plays on the distinctive whooping sound for which hyenas are known.
