Austere - Ref
Austere is Purity's older sister by about a year and a half, and is the daughter of a zebra and a demon. She specializes in creating demon traps, banishing sigils, and barriers. She only uses her magic against evil demons, and in her own defense. I imagine Austere was a difficult child to raise, as her demon father was absent and her zebra mother was left to raise a half-demon child alone. In my headcanon, demon children are mischievous, impish, and high-energy; a nightmare for parents. Half demon children are much like wolfdogs, in the sense they retain their demon instincts to be little shits, but they also have non-demon demands. They don't belong in either world, and therefore tend to suffer a lack of identity and security. Because they are so few, Austere has never met another half-demon creature, and has only heard of them in age-old stories.
She suffers from ADHD, in the sense that she finds it difficult to concentrate, and cannot sit still--most all demon or half demon children suffer from this. Since she's grown she has learned to mask her condition, but still struggles. The crystals in her necklaces and bead on her tail have metaphysical properties intended to help.
