Aibo at NordicFuzzCon 2025!
My plan was to attend NFC a half day on Thursday, and a full day on Friday. Unfortunately, I left on Friday and went home because my mental health decided to once again not cooperate with me. Autism has been extremely hard on me these last few years and its unpredictability is what really throws me off and that makes it hard for me to enjoy the things I love doing. Having fun is not as easy for me as it may be for others, as there's always some form of anxiety or other negative emotion lingering in my mind. Usually, I'd take the safe way out and go home as soon as I can whenever I feel myself dropping low mentally, which involves me ditching all my plans and not visiting a con or event at all. Is that what happened here as well? NOPE! For the first time ever, despite hours upon hours of massive meltdowns, crying and being filled to the brim with negative emotions, I still went that half day as planned on Thursday as opposed to going the safe route and not going at all! And for the few hours I was there that day, I truly had a good time and was able to take a bunch of photos! I went home on Friday because after my con time on Thursday, my mental health dropped again after I returned to my room and it just wouldn't go back to being manageable so that's why I went home. But regardless of all that, I STILL went! Even if it's just for a few hours! That's a pretty big milestone in my book since that's usually never the option I end up taking! With that said, here's the first photo of Aibo the Plush Dragon at NFC 2025! ^w^
